Appearance: Somewhat of a pretty-boy, Rhett's soft features and easy-going smile net him a lot of unwanted attention from passersby. He keeps his hair parted so that his bangs cover his left eye, unbothered by the possible annoyance, as he's completely blind. Rhett dresses a bit conservatively most of the time, though he often lets Keir choose his clothes, trusting his input over the majority of the guild's; his most common outfit consists of a gray button-down under a black pullover sweater, faded jeans and sturdy black boots, which he chose himself so that he doesn't get tripped up as often.

His violet guild mark rests just over his heart.

Personality: Rhett's a rather soft-spoken, amiable person, able to get along with most anyone. He doesn't offer his opinion up unless he thinks it's worthwhile, and is usually content to sit back and watch the conversation unfold rather than join it. He's incredibly loyal, and once you've made it into his "family" (which includes the majority of the guild) he'll die for you without a second thought. He's also a bit self-righteous, and if he does something he thinks is necessary he won't allow you to tell him it was in any way wrong, no matter who it is that's chastising him. Rhett's intelligence is well above average, though you wouldn't notice, seeing as he doesn't like to show off; he's acutely attuned to the feelings of those around him, though, and will not hesitate to comfort them if he sees the need to. He has a nagging fear of being injured, knowing what it does to Keir, and also a fear of being hated, which is why he doesn't speak out very often or try to cause trouble.

As he's blind, Rhett's never once seen himself, and so he generally has a negative view of his appearance, even when people tell him otherwise.

Magic: Air Magic

Short History: An only child, Rhett was born to his mage mother and his non-magical father, and his mother was overjoyed to find that his magic began developing at a young age. His father, though, was worried he'd become troublesome in the future and left the family once it was clear Rhett had real talent with his magic, despite being blind. Rhett wasn't as affected as his mother, but he still carries the burden of causing his father to leave them with him, and that plays into his need for acceptance and his desire to remain low-key among the guild, though he has enough talent to move up in the ranks if he so desired. As he grew up, Rhett took to using his air magic to help him overcome his disability, using air currents to map out his surroundings and make sure he could walk confidently without running into anything. That's what made Lock take an interest in him when the man strolled into his small village one day, and Lock was quick to ask him to join Starry Rose. Though reluctant to leave his mother alone, Rhett was beyond excited by the prospect of joining a guild, and with his mother's urging, he left with Lock right away.

He met the Sallow twins soon after he joined the guild, and became fast friends with both of them, especially Keir.
