Chapter 2: The Ghost Phantom manor

Elsewhere in a car, Misaki and her friends was went to the Phantom manor's lair.

"Koutarou-chan!"

"I'm sorry!"

"Shut up, idiot! Or I'll hit you with flashlight!"

Misaki giggles at her friends as she held a flashlight on her hands. She notice Tamayo gripped her flashlight tightly. "Did you see that? someone was infiltration the mansion?"

He nodded, Tamayo loosened her grip on the flashlight. "OK. Come on. I need a boost like a somebody was inside the mansion."

He made that face. "Tamayo, are you sure about a plan?"

"You heard it, didn't you find it?"

Misaki bit her lips. "Well, I guess,"  she said. "It was looks like that Law-chan told me about the Phantom's existing in the mansion. He said he saw a ghost woman was surround in the mansion. I mean, she doesn't disturb people in the mansion. That was strangely, Tamayo-chan."

Tamayo made face a scary. In secrets, she never heard about the maiden. She didn't like this anymore than he did. But, she had to know what she had heard. "Come on," she said, walked close down. She approaches the gate. "Give me a boost, and I'll unlock the gate."

"Alright," he said, not bothering to hide his own uneasiness. He gruntes as he lifted her up. She grabbed the gate and pulled herself over. Landing softly on the ground, she immediately turned on her flashlight, studying the ground. She could barely discern tall manor in the shadow.

"Tamayo!," Koutarou and Misaki said in loud whisper and she jostled back to reality. She rushed to the gate and pulled it open. They rushed inside and they closed it. Then, they switch on their flashlight, studying on the ground.

Koutarou grimaced as they looked out at the ground. They had been well kept. Grass was overgrown in the planter, weeds squeezing the life from any plant that may once lived. They path kept well. Then, the twisting path led up to the manor. The old structure was beautiful. It would have once a grand Victorian home, but very different and turned the wall a dark brown, the shutter were moldy, the roof still had. It was truly looked as though it could be very haunted.

Tamayo regard the place with a interest and curiously, but also touch of fear. Because she had heard many in that mansion. She was also heard from the citizens that the woman was responsible to haunted people in the mansion. According to legends, the maiden casually likes to singing a song.

"Come on," Tamayo said in whisper, and they started along the path, stepping a around overgrown needs and over parts where she notice a woman watching and smiles. Finally, they reached the entrance to the mansion, a door, that never locked, never closed.  It just creaked, blowing the winds. Misaki stopped in front of the door, suddenly, looking at Tamayo questions. Swallow her fear, she stepped into mansion's entry hall.

The entry hall was candlelit. She looked about the walls. Every wall looked the same, except one. That one wall was differ in the one  respect: a painting hung on the walls. Small, circular,,of the face of young woman.

"She's beautiful," Tamayo said in awe, studying the paint. The woman seems to be smiling and her reddish-brown hair frames her face. Her cheeks were pink, and the painter had managed to captured a sort of innocent about her.

Then, she heard someone was walked from the mansion. The words children's sons strung together, eerie tune. That voice was beautiful, ethereal, but it will frightened Tamayo.

The mansion was silent in moment, becoming a vacant.

Koutarou's face had turned into white, but it swallow. "This way." He turned into circular room. The door's slammed shut behind them, and Tamayo screamed.

Unfortunately to them, the girls was watching them. from distance. She looks at hall in mansion as she looked at woman.
