*Senku POV*

There I was watching Y/N fight this "wizard" named Chrome...
I rolled my eyes, science he was doing science, but calling it magic. Magic is ten billion percent illogical and fake! These people in this village have no idea, but Chrome might have some promise if Y/N can pull this duel off. Which, I believe in her scientific abilities ten billion percent! But I tried to seem as uninterested as possible though...

Chrome threw some powder into the fire we were gathered around, which made the flames change colors... a flame test. Everyone, other than myself and Y/N, were awed at this simpleton's show.
"Awe how cute, you figured out salt, copper, and sulfur make the flames change colors!" Y/N smiled looking into the flames, with a small blush. I looked away, did she think he was cute?! Well, that didn't matter, because it musta hurt his pride a little. Chrome was sulking after Y/N figured out his silly trick! Had to admit that was pretty amusing to watch... what will she do next to surprise me?

Next he brought a stone ball and rubbed on it, then shocked the blonde boys nose with a small spark.

'A sulfur ball... we really are dealing with the kid basics of science right now...' I shook my head a bit as I looked over to the H/C girl standing in front of me.
She got what the ball was and spun around and walked to me with that cute smile of hers.

"Could I borrow that for a second, Senku?" She pointed at the sciencw flag Yuzuriha had made us before we left.

'I see.' I smirked and handed the flag to her.

She took the ball away from Chrome and placed it in the middle of the flag, holding the ends and making alot of friction. Which, in turn made her hair stand up, frizzily like mine.
I couldn't stop smiling at her as she walked over to the same blonde boy, and gave him the shocking news of his life!
I chuckled a bit, this was ten billion percent more exhilarating to watch with someone as intelligent as myself, really show off what science is to these simpletons!

That's when I noticed Y/N starring my way and when I looked back, she quickly looked the other way...?

"This is getting boring..." she whined "Hey what's up here?" She was climbing the ladder to the little shack looking hut.
"HEY, THATS MY SORCERERY LAIR YOU CAN'T GO IN THERE!" Chrome yelled as he grabbed her and tried pulling her off but she held onto the ladder, it was the most funniest shit I've ever seen!!!
I couldn't help but laugh at them!!!
I was curious myself about what was in there too... maybe we can use this opportunity...
"Hey! Chrome, Y/N! What do you say we make this duel a little more intresting?"
Y/N eyes lit up, she knew where I was going with that simple sentence.

"Yeah Chrome... let's do it! One more duel, whatever best "sorcery" you can come up with. If I win I get your shack and everything in it, but if I lose we will leave the village and this place alone! Do we have a bet?!"

*Chrome's POV*

'I can't believe I lost to a girl!?!?' I was beating myself up, I thought I was the smartest most talented wizard there ever was... but these two, with their "science" definitely showed me up and made me look like an idiot!

I had alot to learn from them...

They both were like kids that got new toys when they seen all the awesome stuff in my shed, I mean my collection is pretty impressive!
I got some pride back, when they were looking around excitedly. But I didnt understand the weird long names they were talking about for the rocks...

I need to learn this science for her sake...

"Chrome... Would you help me with a little experiment I'm doing?"
