Hello everyone who may or may not be reading this! So as you can tell by the title, I've finally decided to throw another contest. Only this one isn't a book contest....No, its a -

Cover Contest!.....Again!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it's not what I promised I'd do, but I'm in the midsts of trying to find a new cover for my most recent book, and I was like 'hey, why don't I throw a cover contest and see how that works out for what I'm looking for?'

So that's what I'm doing. (Obviously.)

Alright, lets get on with the fun part. Anyone who's interested, continue on down. Those who aren't, but know a cover or graphic artist who might be, please tag them in this chapter! I'm looking for a minimum of five contestants.

Rules:

- No stealing anybody's work. (This is a fair contest.)
- Be a good sport about everything.
- There is No limit when it comes to the amount of cover entries. (You can enter as many covers as you want.)
- Closing date is Saturday, April 28th, 2018.

How This Is Going To Work:

- There will be guidelines towards what I want this cover to look like.
- I'll be waiting about a week for people to enter. Then I'll be giving all the entered contestants four days to complete their covers for this contest. (If you absolutely can't complete it by then, PM me and we can work something out.)
- You'll publish the contest covers in one of your books. (Your cover book if you have one.) Then you'll tag me so I'll know where to look.
- I'll then pick my favorite one, and announce the winner and the runner up winner.

PRIZES:
Winner:
- Your cover will be displayed as my cover for at least two weeks (depends on how much I like it.) with credit to you in the summary.
- Twenty reads on any book/books of your choice.
- A shoutout on my message board.
- Bragging rights.

Runner up:
- Ten reads on any book/Books of your choice.
- Bragging rights.

Ideas: This cover contest is kinda free run, but I had an idea where there's an old playground with a boy and a girl, around six years old, swinging together on it with the sun kinda casting them in the shadows so they're mostly silhouettes. Maybe a vintage look.

How you Could Win:
- It's the most eye catching and theme matching cover of them all.

Book Summary:
17 year-old Nicki Knight believed she'd be doing the same-old same-old she's been doing every summer for the past eleven years of her life; Earn some money working extra hours at her mother's diner, attempting not to get sunburn, and possibly teaching her lazy cat a new trick besides "lay down."

But that reality suddenly comes crashing down when her mother unexpectedly tells her a family from their past is moving to live in the same city as them. And that's not it; The Mom of said family is getting a job at Knight's Diner.

Suddenly Nicki is thrust back into a life with her childhood best-friends she never expected to see again.

She soon discovers, after secrets are revealed and a torrent of emotions are opened up, their identities aren't what she remembers.

  Basically this is a book about a girl that once knew this family but moved away and now she's seeing them again after all this time only to find out things aren't quite the same.
