For two years, Sabine hid her secret from Hera, Kanan, and the grumpy astromech Chopper. Throughout that time, Hera had taken in a Lasat called Garazeborelious, or Zeb for short. Not to mention a street rat kid that they'd found on Lothal who was called Ezra Bridger. He was rather irritating because he kept flirting with her a lot. But it wasn't the flirting that Sabine was worried about. She was afraid he'd find out her secret. The kid was smarter than he looked and sometimes followed her places. What if he followed her to one of her hideouts when she was transforming? She might kill him by accident. Sabine always shuddered at the thought. While the boy hadn't been with the Ghost Crew for very long, he was still part of their team. And she wouldn't know what to do if she got him killed.

It was a humid day on Lothal, the Ghost rested in the calm grass fields. Ezra wiped sweat off his forehead as he finished cleaning the Phantom. He looked up at the sky to see the full moon up above.

'It really is a beautiful thing' he thought.

Ezra gaze caught sight of Sabine nearing the Ghost. She'd been out for a couple of hours and Ezra was happy to see her return. He'd thought the Empire had got her. However, his joy was tampered with confusion as he saw Sabine cradling her right arm.

"Hey Sabine, you okay?" He called.

The Mandalorin looked up in surprise and a causal expression took over her face.

"I'm fine" she said.

"Just got scratched by a Lothcat."

Ezra gave a slight laugh.

"Yeah you've gotta be careful of them, they're quite feisty little creatures" he told her.

"I noticed."

Ezra watched her go into the Ghost and felt a flicker of concern. Was he imagining things, or was Sabine's voice a little growly? Come to think of it, she'd been acting off lately. Collapsing suddenly, then saying her legs had fallen asleep. Her pupils diluting then explaining she'd purchased some new contact lenses. Herself twitching then saying she was cold or explaining she did that when she felt something suspicious occuring. It didn't make any sense. Ezra wanted to get to the bottom of it but knew how violent or angry Sabine could get if she caught him following her. He decided if he wanted to find out what was bothering Sabine he'd have to be very stealthy and discreet. The Mandalorin had a gift of knowing when she was being snuck up on. Ezra swore she had a Force connection of some kind to which Kanan laughed at. Saying if Sabine had a Force connection, he'd be the first to realise it. Ezra knew if he wanted to know what was going on, he'd have to risk getting his teeth punched out by Sabine. Then and again, it could be nothing...

Right?

Sabine crept quietly through the halls of the Ghost later that night, making sure she didn't make a sound. Her right arm was tingling terribly and she felt the hairs rising on her back. Sliding down the ladder, Sabine opened the ramp and took off across the fields of Lothal. Heading for the cave she found while she was scouting for possible changing locations. She was trying to find something sealed away, not easy to find, and far from people. The cave she'd found was still closer to Capital City then she liked but it was the best Sabine could find. Sprinting across the moonlit fields, Sabine had to stop herself from the urge of running on all fours. Giving in to the temptation would only quicken the changing process. Little did the Mandalorin know, she was being followed. Ezra ran after Sabine, close enough so he could see her, but far enough away that he couldn't see her features. Thanks to the Mandalorin's bright armour, he could spot her easily. He'd been sitting on top of the Ghost when he heard the ramp open. Seeing Sabine run into the night, he'd jumped off the ship and followed. Ezra was surprised by Sabine's sudden take off into the grasslands but was even more surprised when he saw her heading for a cave. It was large but could easily be mistaken for a rock collum.

'It's almost like she doesn't want anyone to find her' he thought.

'But why though?'

Sabine sprinted inside, stumbling a little and Ezra approached rapidly, but quietly. He froze however, when he heard an inhuman noise. It was like a growling snarl then he heard a soft howl.

'Sabine!' Ezra thought instantly and ran to the mouth of the cave.

What met his gaze made him stop short. Staring at the sight in front of him. A large midnight blue and indigo furred wolf stood hunched in the middle of the cave. It had sharp claws and a long, swishing tail. It whined softly to itself as its sides rose and fell heavily. The wolf's nose twitched as it looked up and Ezra saw it had dark amber eyes.

"Sabine" he whispered in realization.

"What's happened to you?"
