Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile, but I've been really busy. Hope you like this chapter and please enjoy and comment.

The group traveled deeper into the forest up to the point where there was barely any light. It was so dark, that they keep tripping over logs and rocks on the road.

"Is it just me, or does it feel like the farther we go into this forest, the darker it becomes." Jay asked everybody.

No one answered and just continued walking in silence, no one really wanted to talk in the dangerous forest.

"Do you think there's wild animals in the forest?" Jay asked, this time getting an answer.

"I am sure there are." Zane said.

"Animals that eat straw?" Cole asked, suddenly afraid.

"Some, but mostly lions, and tigers, and bears." Zane stared again.

"Lions?" Jay asked.

"And tigers?" Cole asked.

"And bears." Zane said.

"Oh my." Nya said, holding on tightly to Jay.

The group repeated these words as they traveled farther down the road. Getting louder and running faster as they traveled down the road. They all stopped when they heard a loud roar.

The lion jumped down towards them. Jay and Nya hid behind a tree, while Cole and Zane just fell on their butts and cowering in fear.

The lion stood on its two hind legs, as if he were an actual person. His mane was spiky and wild, and he growled at the group.

"Put um up, put um up!" The lion said to Zane and Cole.

"Pull an shuriken on me hey," he said to Zane who was holding a pair of shuriken. "Sneaking up on me hey." He said to Cole and growled.

He turned beck to Zane and said "Stand up you shaking tin can!"

He then turned to Cole. "Why don't you stand up you bag of hay?" He asked him in a mocking tone.

"Now that's getting personal lion." Cole said, still sitting on the ground.

"Yes, get up and teach him a lesson." Zane encouraged Cole.

"What's wrong with you teaching him?" Cole asked.

"Well, I barely know him." Zane said.

Jay sneezed, and then the lion noticed him. "I'll get you!" He yelled and chased after Jay.

Jay ran to Nya and they both ran to the yellow brick road. Nya, with Jay hiding behind her, stopped as the lion got closer. She slapped him in the face and yelled "Shame on you!"

"Ow!" He wined and looked at Nya. "Why did you do that. I didn't hurt him." He asked.

"No, but you tried to." Nya said, while Jay helped Zane and Cole up. "It's bad enough you pick on a straw mans and a tin man, but when you go around messing with my boyfriend..."

The lion was still rubbing his nose and said "Sorry, but did you have to hit me in the nose?"

"Sorry too, but you shouldn't go around picking on things that are weaker than you." Nya said , the boys hiding behind her.

"Well that doesn't mean you have to slap me in the nose. Is it bleeding?" He asked.

"Of course not." Nya said. "Why are you winning so much?"

"Because I'm scared." The lion said, looking ashamed of himself. "I'm nothing but a big cowardly lion."

"Okay, so what's your name?" Jay asked from behind Nya, still afraid to approach him.

"My name is Kai." He said.

"Hey, do you think the wizard could help Kai too?" Cole asked, stepping out from behind Nya.

"Yay, I think so." Jay said.

"Do you want to come with us to the wizard and ask him from some courage?" Zane asked.

"Yay, I think I will go with you guys." Kai said and they all linked arms.

"To Oz?" Jay asked.

"To Oz!" Nya shouted as they travel down the yellow brick road.
