Amber yawned as she stretched in her perfectly crafted wooden bed. She rubbed her eyes as she sat up and pulled her wool covers off. She immediately gasped as she jumped out of bed and ran outside.

Her bare feet collided with the dewy grass, and she wiggled her toes around. She giggled, and it's like the whole world smiled.

She looked up into the sky and said, "The sun is so beautiful. I wish you a good day, Mr. Sun!"

When she came back down to earth, she thought to herself, better go get something for breakfast!

She scurried into her little cabin and quickly grabbed a wicker basket she had made by herself. Amber charged out the door, quickly silencing herself in order not to wake the critters.

She tiptoed all the way to her favorite berry bush and plucked a few into her mouth while filling the basket. Amber hummed a joyful tune to fill the silence, just as all the animals begin waking up. "You're finally awake!" she cheered, walking away from the bush once the basket was full.

"Good morning, everyone!" she whispered. The birds chirped, the deer jumped, and the chipmunks squeaked. "I hope you all had a great sleep last night!"

After all, those animals were her life. She had nothing else and no one else. It may seem sad, but Amber was very happy the way her life was.

It would be a shame if something were to interfere.
