Scorpius walked around, waiting for Kaos and his troll butler to show up. Kaos apparently made some kind of machine that can lift the Dark Dragonslayer from the valley and into a better place so the trolls can get to work. Jagged walked up to Scorpius, with some upcoming rookie hunters behind him.

Jagged: Scorpius, these rookies wanted to know if you had any advice for dragon hunting.
Scorpius: Hm? Oh, sure, of course! Come here children.
Rookie 1: Oh boy oh boy!
Rookie 2: Tell us, tell us!
Scorpius: Now, listen well. Dragons, no matter what kind, are not to be taken lighty. No, all must be dealt with as seriously as you would the most dangerous of creatures. If you're using the classic "caught on a rope" trick and the dragon happens to get it around his neck, don't release them. Watch as they struggle to escape, unable to breathe fire or whatever breath they use, and wait until they either suffocate to unconsciousness or pass out from energy loss. It takes patience, but it is worth it in the end. After all, patience is a virtue.

Scorpius continued to teach the rookies rather disturbing things as they intently listened. Scorpius then advised that they should go and train with such advise in mind. Scorpius turned to see that Kaos and Glumshanks had finally shown up, but their faces seemed horribly disturbed by something.

Scorpius: Anything wrong?
Glumshanks: *nervously* 😕 Ahh.. Um, n-nothing! Uh, Lord Kaos has something to show you General Scorpius.
Kaos: What? Oh. (Clears throat) Yes! I, KAOS, have invented the most powerful claw ever! Powerful enough to lift anything, including the Dark Dragon-killer!
Scorpius: 😐 Dark Dragonslayer Lord Kaos.
Kaos: Whatever. Come along you two! I'll show you how powerful my Ultimate Claw of-
Scorpius: Doom?😒
Kaos: Nope! Of DESTRUCTION! Totally tricked you didn't I?
Scorpius: Of course.*sigh*

The three of them walked out onto a ledge that over looked where the Dark Dragonslayer was. Sure enough, there was a massive claw equipped crane over the Dark Dragonslayer, ready to lift it out. Kaos, controller in hand, pressed a button or two and the claw dropped and carefully grabbed the old warship. A few more button presses and the claw started to lift the ship. It seemed to actually be working... until a rope snapped somewhere in the crane and the claw dropped the ship. As the trolls immediately went to see if the Dark Dragonslayer was severely damaged, Scorpius immediately went into rage mode and actually held Kaos over the ledge, threatening to drop him.

Scorpius: 😠 I'm gonna do it! I swear I'll drop you and believe me the landing WILL HURT!!!
Kaos: AAAAHHHH!!! Glumshanks, do something!
Glumshanks: Uh, uh... Mister Scorpius, sir, I h-have a solution, I think.
Scorpius:😠 Well?! What is it?!
Glumshanks: Uh, m-maybe we can get a professional mechanical genius or someone like that to help us?
Scorpius: Yeah? Well, last time I checked, Dr.Krankcase was on the Skylanders' side, and I'm not in the mood nor do I have the firepower to go straight to the Citadel and raid the place just-
Glumshanks: No no no, hear me out! M-maybe we can get some of the Skylanders out with a trap or something. And hopefully, one or two of them will be Tech Skylanders. Maybe even the renowned Drobot or Sprocket will be there.
Scorpius: (panting)..... That might work.

Scorpius took Kaos away from the edge and dropped him onto the dropped him onto the ground. Kaos was just now starting to think that handling this guy was going to be like being around Wolfgang again.

Scorpius: Yes... Yes! We'll take your minions Kaos, attack some town, trick the Skylanders into coming out, and then we'll kidnap the Tech elemental ones and make them help us in rising the Dark Dragonslayer once more! It's brilliant! Ooooo, I'll take special interest in making that Drobot dragon work endlessly if we capture him! Kaos, gather your best warriors and allow me to do the rest!

Later

Raven: NiGHTS, you said you'd help me, not make it worse!
NiGHTS: (Laughs) Can't catch us, can't catch us!

Apparently somehow Raven managed to contact none other then NiGHTS the Nightmaren to assist with getting Dreamcatcher to straighten up. Of course! Unfortunately, the plan seemed to have backfired, and now Raven was caught in yet another game of "tag". Of course. Could things get worse? Well, yeah. Apparently through a rather complicated order of events, Bowser brought a special guest of his own to ghe Academy. Someone Raven unfortunately knew. Someone with Raven's passive-aggressive personality, if not worse.

A female robot that is known to most as Ray, the "Vermillion Destroyer" herself. Apparently she wanted to "get in on the action" at the arena in her world. The Mighty Numbers thought she needed to learn how to be a part of a team first, so they talked to Zero. He couldn't find anything for Ray, so he asked Megaman about it. When he couldn't find anything, he asked some of his friends at the Smash Arena. Fortunately Bowser knew the Skylanders, who knew just about everything about being on a team. So, here she is. Told you it was complicated. Sun Dragon had overheard Ray and Raven talking about how Mewtwo was worried about Marshadow and had apparently told Ray that if she saw Raven again then to tell her that Pikachu didn't mean no harm. Raven understood the situation and had no grudge against him. Now, Ray happened to catch Raven having to deal with both NiGHTS and Dreamcatcher.

Ray: (laughing) 😂 I'm glad Bill had me come here now! What's wrong Raven, feeling a little inadequate? (Continues laughing)
Joshua: (chuckles) One must admit, this is probably the most exercise Raven has gotten in a while.
Raven: I can hear you, you know! And whose side are you on anyway?!
Dreamcatcher: Lol, I guess you're just too slow to catch a couple of heads, huh?
NiGHTS: Well, you know what they say. "Two heads are better then one"! (Chuckles)
Raven: Now you're in for it! Get over here!

Skylands's own dream creature and the British accent Nightmaren continued to taunt Raven as Joshua and Ray were entertained. Quite frankly Sun Dragon laughed at the sight as well. He had planned to introduce Raven and her friends to Blinx, since he finally returned to learn more about Skylands.

Blinx: I take it this happens a lot?
Sun Dragon: (chuckles) I don't know. Raven and Joshua are staying here for a bit, and Ray just happened to be here. As for NiGHTS, Raven apparently took advantage of her tired condition yesterday and went to the Dream Realm, where she apparently knew NiGHTS and convinced her to come.
Blinx: I see... Wait, NiGHTS is a girl?
Sun Dragon: Not exactly, more like one of those "non-gender specific" types. Most people see NiGHTS as a girl I think, but there are people who take NiGHTS as a boy.
Dreamcatcher: (panting) You...had enough...yet?
NiGHTS: *clicks tongue* One mustn't use so much energy at one time like you do Dreamcatcher. (Chuckles) You alright Raven?
Raven: Oh yeah, sure. Thanks for tuckering her out for me. Now maybe I can get some words in through her thick skull.
Ray: What? Ah come on! I wanted to see Raven tank some "exercise" as I watch her squirm! Do it again!
Raven: Oh shut up, will you?

Dreamcatcher looked like she was fixing to pass out. Though Raven didn't seem to care since Ray was bickering with her, again. Joshua and NiGHTS just giggled as Sun Dragon and Blinx discussed this unlikely combination of characters. Eteru suddenly came up to Sun Dragon and seemed to have something to say.

Eteru: Sun Dragon! I've been looking for you! Come on!
Sun Dragon: What is it, young Eteru?
Eteru: Me and Bazookanine are going on our first mission! But Master Starcast has requested you and Mixcoatl's team come along.
Sun Dragon: Oh? Any particular reason?
Eteru: Apparently this Scorpius guy you told us about is attacking some village of Aqua Dogs in a glade somewhere! The Skylanders are already there, but apparently they need assistance! And since you've met this Scorpius guy-!
Sun Dragon: Say no more Eteru. I'm coming with you! Blinx, forgive me for leaving you like this but I must go!
Blinx: Of course. Good luck!
Sun Dragon: Thank you Blinx. We're going to need all the good luck we can get considering Scorpius. Come on Eteru!
Joshua: Hm? Sunny, Eteru, where are you going?
Eteru: A mission! We'll tell you later!

Raven and co. could only watch in confusion as Sun Dragon and Eteru quickly became small specks across the campus grounds. This was obviously something serious. Though Blinx didn't know exactly what was going on entirely either, but he felt that Sun Dragon could handle it.

Hopefully.

Bazookanine, Eteru, Sun Dragon, Mixcoatl, SpringCarrier, Daphne, and even Ihala and Kamua were summoned for this mission. They had to take Sharpfin's ship since they needed to get to the Skylanders fast. Eteru was obviously nervous; this was his first mission, and it had to be with the infamous Scorpius, the crazed dragon that killed any dfagons in his path. Bazookanine and everyone did all they could to calm him down. Everyone but Sun Dragon. He was too focused on Scorpius to talk. What could Scorpius be up to this time? Something must be wrong if the Skylanders themselves needed Sun Dragon's brief history with Scorpius to assist them.

Soon his question of what Scorpius was up to was answered. Not only did he somehow get another tribe of trolls to attack the village, but apparently he was targeting the Skylanders themselves. When Sun Dragon and the team arrived, Scorpius was holding both Drobot and Sprocket in his hands while the other Skylanders, including Spyro, tried to get through his trolls.

Scorpius: Ah what luck! Getting both Drobot and Sprocket to help me fix my ship! (Cackles maniacally)
Sun Dragon: You all help the Skylanders; I'll get Drobot and Sprocket.
Mixcoatl: Oh no you don't! I'm staying with you and fighting this psychopathic monster this time! And nothing anyone can say will stop me this time!
Sun Dragon: Very well Mix. We'll fight together this time. Everyone else, help Spyro and the others!

As Sun Dragon and Mixcoatl charged at Scorpius, the rest of them tackled the trolls. It wasn't long before Scorpius noticed the resistance.

Scorpius: 😠 What?! You? Well, at least I'll be able to take you down this time! Oh, and I see you've brought that scared sill serpent with you again.
Mixcoatl: You're fixing to be the one who'll be scared silly!

Mixcoatl then threw one of his potions. Scorpius blew his Black Breath as the potion closed in, and it exploded on contact, due to it being Mixcoatl's acid potion. Scorpius, unharmed, threw Drobot and Sprocket to the side and slammed his hand to the ground, summoning his Steel Spikes towards Mixcoatl and Sun Dragon. They dodged the attack, and then Mixcoatl began what sounded like chanting. The skies themselves started getting gray and cloudy as Mixcoatl began throwing more potions, this time when they landed thorny plants suddenly sprouted, almost like a barrier between them and Scorpius. Knowing perfectly that Scorpius's Black Breath could burn right through the plants, he swallowed some of his own potions and suddenly blew a chemical flamethrower at Scorpius, forcing the dragon to use his wings as a shield. Sun Dragon used this to slip past Scorpius and reach Drobot and Sprocket, checking them for any serious injuries. Seeing as how they were well enough to continue fighting, he helped them out and they ran to the others fighting the trolls. Though it wasn't until some time later, Scorpius eventually found out that Drobot and Sprocket were gone.

Scorpius: What?! Alright, no more mister nice dragon! You give me no choice but to summon my newest additions! *whistles*

The large troll ship, which most definitely wasn't an Anti-claw ship, flew to an area closer to the fight. Some trolls noticeably nervously began to open a large hatch and went inside. Within moments, a loud screeching could be heard, and within mere seconds after that a Spyro-sized black bird came out, held back only by chains on its legs and neck. Dark elemental magic rose like smoke from the birds wings as it thrashed and screeched more. Pure, ghostly energy emitted from its pupil-less eyes, as if the bird was pocessed. Both Sun Dragon and Eteru recognized immediately that the bird was a phoenix, but how could a phoenix be pitch black and maddened like a hostile animal. Another bird came out and it looked almost exactly like the black phoenix, but there were some obvious differences. Its red pupils shown, black smoke didn't rise from the wings, it was calm and emotionless as opposed to raging and wild, and it was not constricted in any way.

Scorpius: Spare the dragons, I'll deal with them personally! As for everyone else Obleak, obliterate!

The chained mad bird, apparently called Obleak, was released and immediately it charged straight at everyone. It even injured some trolls with no disregard whatsoever! The other one flew directly towards thw group of Skylanders and cadets and began fighting.

Ihala: Sun, Eteru, you're oriental dragons. You know how to fight one of these phoenixes right?
Sun Dragon: Yes and no Ihala.
Eteru: Oriental dragons and phoenixes raged war with each other some centuries ago. When we signed the peace treaty, one of the terms was, under no circumstances, were either side was to attack one of the other side or else war would break out again.
Ihala: How convenient.
Sun Dragon: It's rather complicated now the war start- Look out!

The crazed phoenix tried to blast them at close range, but the three of them managed to dodge it. Ihala and Kamua paired and began attacking the black phoenix simultaneously, but all it seemed to do was anger the bird more. The other black phoenix specifically seemed to target the Skylanders and cadets, while avoiding the dragons as per Scorpius's instructions. Bazookanine managed to blast the bird with his quad laucher, and it stunned the bird. Bazookanine's eyes widened however when he saw sparks come from the body of the bird as it jerked somewhat violently, as if it was a... a robot. Bazookanine feared who or what this creature really was.

Bazookanine: Quick, does anyone have any high-pitched sound powers, because now's time to use it?!
Sonic Boom: On it!

Sonic Boom, an Air elemental griffin of the Core Skylanders, flew close to the stunned black bird and screeched her loudest at it. It not only sent the bird back several meters away, but it ultimately revealed that this bird wasn't a bird at all. As it was getting back up from the attack, it suddenly transformed into a surprisingly humanoid robot with bright yellow eyes, a pearl white permanent smile, and wires covering pretty much every part of its body minus the head.
Though most were shocked by this, Bazookanine wasn't, which told Eteru that his brother knew something about this robot.

Eteru: Bazookanine, have you seen this thing before? I mean, you knew that it had to be hit by a high-pitched noise to reveal its real form.
Bazookanine: Yeah, I know him. Or rather, knew him. Guess you could say he was an old training partner of mine.
Scorpius: Tianhe-2, transform into something else now!

The robot immediately shook off his stunned status and flipped as it transformed into something else. As it hit the ground again, it had completely changed into a... green colored harpy lady? He flew into the sky using his new form and started blasting bursts of sharp feather filled whirlwinds at the Skylanders.

Kamua: 😮 How does that thing do dat?
Bazookanine: It uses the latest in holographic plasma laser technology to produce a metaphysical form that resembles an exact copy of the original organism he copies. He also copies any and all powers, traits, and even memories of the original organism.
Kamua: Oooohhhh.... What?
Daphne: It means that robot can pretty much transform into anybody it knows. Thing got any weaknesses?
Bazookanine: Well, when transformed he is near invincible, but you saw that using high-pitched sounds change him back into his original robot form, which is its weakest and most vulnerable form. If I remember correctly he also resists transforming into certain people or creatures, like... Oh! Like Joshua.
Sun Dragon: So we're dealing with a crazed, enraged, corrupt phoenix and a robot who can transform into anyone or anything not considered overpowering. What a duo.
???: Eteru!

Eteru looked around and saw an aqua dog run to him. He seemed to recognize the female easy. She carried something in her hands. Her fur had patches of gray and black fur that mixed in with her multi-shaded blue fur, and her eye (the other eye was missing) was a green ocean color.

Eteru: Lassea! Oh no, don't tell me this is your home town!
Lassea: I'm afraid it is. When these trolls attacked me and Phobia contacted the Skylanders for help. Here, your luxgladius Eteru.
Eteru: Thank you. I was starting to miss it, now where's Phobia?
Lassea: She's fighting that black phoenix with those twins over there. I assume they're friends of yours.
Eteru: Yeah, they are. Oh, guys, this is Lassea. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her and Phobia.
Bazookanine: "Lassea"? Wait... You ever seen that old Earth show about a dog named Lassie? Cause your name sounds awful lot like that. Just sayin'.
SpringCarrier: No offense but this is no time to squabble. Scorpius just joined the fight and we all need to attack! Plus the Skylanders are taking a beating.
Scorpius: I'm not leaving until one of these Tech bozos comes with me, willingly or by force!

All of them fought vigorously against the other. Scorpius targeted the dragons, Tianhe-2 targeted anyone who wasn't a dragon, and Obleak targeted everyone. He even nearly seriously injured Scorpius a few times. The Skylanders and the cadets just target whoever on Scorpius's side they could, including Scorpius. At one point Eteru was fighting some trolls when Scorpius came out of nowhere and grabbed his neck and rised him off the ground.

Scorpius: So you're the "Eteru" everyone's been after. You don't seem like the type to wield such untold powers. Of course you had to be a dragon. I've made a deal with a certain person to turn you in to them. Either you come with me now willingly or I'll drag you back to my hostile land myself.
Eteru: (groan) It's creatures like you that make this place look terrible, you know that?
Scorpius: ....(scoff) I am a dragon, so of course it's creatures like me that make Skylands seem unlikable. And as nice as it is that you see at least that much truth in this world, you have your part to play elsewhere.

Eteru's magic flared to life like a raging forest fire as he attempted to punch Scorpius in his snout, but Scorpius had Eteru where he wanted him. Squirming for freedom, crying in pain.

Unfortunately for Scorpius, that wasn't exactly what Eteru was doing. Next thing Scorpius knew, he was hit with what felt like a wave of energy in his face. He hit the ground hard before looking up to see a deer made of the light blue magic Eteru used. He never saw this kind of magic before. The deer started attacking Scorpius as Eteru stood there, apparently directing it.

Sun Dragon: Woah. I assume Raven taught you that?
Eteru: Yeah. It just... appeared out of nowhere.
Phobia: Huh. You never cease to amaze me Eteru. What else can you do, neutron ball juggling? And whose Raven?
Sun Dragon: We'll explain later Ms. Phobia. Right now we need to drive them back to wherever they came from!

The fight went on. Each side trying to wear out the other. Though the trolls on Scorpius's side weren't very effective, Tianhe-2, Obleak, and Scorpius himself were ongoing and destructive. The Skylanders, as powerful and experienced as they were, couldn't handle the situation as much as they would like to.

Sun Dragon: Please Scorpius, this isn't the real you! You're not looking for destruction, you're looking for vengeance! We can help you!
Scorpius: Silence scum! You're nothing but a thorn in my side, as well as the rest of dragon kind! Besides, vengeance must be sought out with the destruction of all that stands in its way!
Sun Dragon: Destruction and vengeance are two different things Scorpius! Please, this isn't like you!
Scorpius: How would you know? How would you know what my life was like before I realized my purpose in this world?!

Well, things were only getting worse. As Scorpius was signaling a "final assult", something came out of nowhere and started mauling at Tianhe-2. As Scorpius was trying to comprehend what just happened, something showed up and rammed into Obleak. Whatever was attacking Tianhe-2 finally stopped as it back-flipped back towards the Skylanders. Wait... Ray?

Ray: (growl) That all these freaks got?! I've met construction robots that were better then this! Yo NiGHTS, got that bird under a leash yet?
NiGHTS: Well, this is harder then it looks, but I've been through worse. Don't worry, I have him.
Scorpius: What the h*ll is going on?!
Ray: You guys stay here. We's got this. Come on, you want a piece of me?!

Due to the surprise attack, both Tianhe-2 and Obleak were thrown back towards the ship within minutes of Ray and NiGHTS showing up. The trolls ran in shock onto the ship as Scorpius was shocked and furious as to these unexpected occurrences.

Scorpius: Oh, now things are fixing to get down! I hope you like pain, 'cause you're in for a whole world of it!😠
Ray: Dude, give it a rest. I mean, you're the one whose in for it.
NiGHTS: I do hope you like big black birds. Because you're in for more of a scare then a pain.
Scorpius: What are you talking about?!

Right on cue, a shadow ran across the ground, stopped in front of Scorpius, and then stretched into the air as it took the form of, what else, a large raven. As it screeched loudly in Scorpius's face, he was suddenly reminded of the fear he felt when he first saw the Undead Dragon King of the Underworld Malefor! He froze with wide eyes as the raven smacked him with one of its wings. Scorpius immediately got back up with the intention to get the heck out of there. He grabbed Obleak and Tianhe-2 as he prepared to fly off.

Scorpius: Screw this, I'm out!
Tianhe-2: (malfunctioning) BaZOokANine!
Obleak: (SCREECH)

Scorpius then jumped off the edge and flew after the troll ship with Tianhe-2 and Obleak in his claws. It wasn't long before they became a speck in the sky. The large raven construct lowered to the ground and reformed as the one and only Raven herself. Ray ran over the ledge and shouted at Scorpius.

Ray: Yeah ya better run, ya psycho! (Cackles maniacally)
NiGHTS: (Giggles) The look on his face was priceless! You got him good Raven.
Raven: Whatever. Now can someone explain to me who that was and what the heck that was about?
Ray: Crazy dragon tried to beat everyone's hides Raven, what more do you need to know?
NiGHTS: I can fly after him if you guys want.
Raven: Nah, he looked like he had a heart attack. Though I'm not against the idea of him having a good nightmare tonight...
NiGHTS: (chuckles) I'll see what I can do about arranging that. Hey, is everyone alright?
Sun Dragon: Barely. Thank you Raven! How did you-
Ray: Rae's boyfriend convinced the Senseis that we should help ya'lls hides.
Raven: NOT MY BOYFRIEND YOU-
Ray: Oh rent a sense a humor with that sixth sense of yours will ya? Geez, no wonder you're a virgin.

Raven suddenly tackled Ray and started wrestling her. Lassea and Phobia explained that the village was suffering from some kind of an outbreak. People were apparently dying in their sleep left and right. Phobia has been trying to figure out what was happening but she hasn't come up with anything. NiGHTS agreed to help with the situation, as well as try to convince Dreamcatcher to help out. After all, it could really help her develope a habit of doing the right thing. Hopefully. The Skylanders stayed around to help repair any damages done to the village and the surrounding area. Bazookanine, however, was to busy thinking over this surprise encounter with Tianhe-2.

Bazookanine: Tianhe-2.... I-I'll find you... and fix you...

Ihala: Kamua, remind me to look into this war of dragons and phoenixes Sun Dragon and Eteru talked about. I'm rather intrigued by it.
Kamua: Ok. (Pulls out a futuristic touch screen) "Look into war with big flying lizards and big hot birds later." Done!
Ihala: *sigh* Sometimes I worry about you Kamua.
