It has been some time since the Anti-claws' great discovery. The Dark Dragonslayer, one of the most powerful warships known in Skylands, was found in a valley not too far from the village. It was once thought to be completely destroyed by the Arkeans many years ago. However, it is in need of great repair, and the Anti-claws don't have the materials nor the knowledge to fix their great ship.

Which meant getting help from an outside source.

Like the other trolls. Who had abandoned the Anti-claws on the island.

And there was only person known in Skylands who dares trust the trolls enough to want to convince them to help the Anti-claws...

Kaos.

Oh boy.

Scorpius knew it was a bit of a stretch: telling Kaos of all "people" about a great warship that needs to be repaired with the help of the more technologically advanced trolls. More then risky, given how desperate Kaos can get about wanting to take over Skylands. Everyone knows. But Kaos was one of the few people that trusted trolls enough to let them run things. He even gave them whole islands to live on, which really is a good thing for Kaos, again of all people, to do. Sure, there were others who trusted the trolls, but Scorpius wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of talking to the giant crustaceans known as Titans. So, Kaos was the next "best" choice. If you could call it that.

It had been almost a week since the letter was sent to Kaos. Scorpius knew it would take some time for the letter to reach Kaos's Castle, but he should've responded sooner. Earlier that morning, however, Scorpius received a letter from the little devil himself saying that he was interested in this Dark Dragonslayer and he would come over to talk about allowing his trolls to help repair the mighty ship. At least they got his attention.

Scorpius has since been training. He wasn't going to let Kaos possibly try and take the Dark Dragonslayer for his own desires. After all, Kaos has been trying for years to take control of Skylands and be it's ruler, and he was desperate. He got an Elemental Hydra to destroy the Core of Light and banished the Skylanders to Earth. He still lost. He revived the Arkean Army and tried to rule with a literal Iron Fist. He still lost. He used Petrified Darkness to attempt corrupting all of Skylands. He still lost. He released the Doom Raiders, plus dozens of other villians, from Cloadcracker Prison and tried to use Traptanium to fuel his "Ultimate Weapon of DOOM". He, well, still lost. He tried using the very Darkness itself to conquer Skylands. Him and the Darkness lost. He even teamed up with the rebellious Ancient Brain to create unstoppable warriors of doom. And...

You guessed it. He still lost. Scorpius kinda didn't blame Kaos for not winning when he tried using the Darkness to conquer Skylands. The Darkness tried to use him to conquer Skylands for itself. Of course Kaos managed to screw it up so the Darkness couldn't take what he thought was his. He actually saved Skylands for once. Once.

As much as it may seem like Kaos is a pushover or anything, he really wasn't if you think about it. He was a Dark Portal Master, and that meant he was powerful and quite dangerous. He has been able to access things that most in Skylands couldn't, like the Petrified Darkness. Scorpius felt he had to prepare for the event Kaos or his minions tried to take the Dark Dragonslayer or the Anti-claw tribe.

Scorpius's idea of training? Hunting dragons down of course. He enjoyed it to death. Their death that is. They call him traitor and psycho and out-of-his-mind, but he had long been immune to their criticisms. They had hurt him before, but the pain had now become void to him.

Slash, snap, bite, and crush. Strike their hearts like they struck his. It was times like these that made Scorpius truly at peace with himself.

Jagged: Figured I'd find you here.
Scorpius: Oh, Jagged. Has Kaos arrived yet?
Jagged: Just came a couple of minutes ago. The other trolls are keeping him occupied right now.
Scorpius: Good. I'll be there to greet him soon enough. Have someone come and tend to these corpses will you? Their horns will make good helmets and their teeth are just small enough to make our valued ruby necklaces.
Jagged: I'll see to it that these are taken care of Scorpius. Good luck with Kaos.

Scorpius took a running start and flew into the skies. He headed for his mountain. As he entered his home, he noticed the trolls Kaos must've brought with him. He was told that Kaos and his infamous butler Glumshanks were in the meeting room waiting for Scorpius. When Scorpius entered he room, he immediately noticed that Kaos had kept himself preoccupied with juice boxes. A lot of 'em. Seriously, Kaos must go through juice boxes like Scorpius goes through dragons or humans go through fried shrimp.

Scorpius: Sorry if I kept you waiting Kaos. I'm Scorpius. And you must be Glumshanks. You're taller then I thought you'd be.
Glumshanks: Uh... the letter didn't say anything about-
Scorpius: Me being a dragon who is charge of a dragon hunting tribe of trolls? Yeah, I get that alot. I do hope you, Kaos, read the contents of my letter.
Kaos: Yes, yes, this "Dark dragon hunter" or whatever, is it really as powerful as you say it is?
Scorpius: That's "Dark Dragonslayer", and yes it was as powerful as I have stated. That's why the Arkeans destroyed it in the first place, and yet the main body itself has survived the test of time and nature, waiting for us to discover it. We here do not have the technology to repair it to its former glory however. Hence why I called upon your help Kaos.
Kaos: Hmmm..... You must be either pretty crazy or really angry if you joined this hunting tribe.
Scorpius: ......Let me make something clear to you. I didn't necessarily "join" this tribe. They took me in after I escaped from the most horrible and terrifying dragon in all Skylands, if not all existence. They proved to me that dragons are merciless, selfish, greedy, and just, plain, cruel. How can they call me "traitor", "psycho", and whatever else they refer me as, when they were the ones who abandoned me in my highest hour of need?

As Scorpius "explained himself", Glumshanks shook and hid behind the seat Kaos was seated in. And though Kaos wouldn't admit it, he too was terrified by Scorpius's sudden change in behavior. Though Scorpius was the same size as Spyro, if not slightly taller, he sure was able to look like a very buff and large dragon when he was up close to your face. The scar over his right eye didn't help much either. Just as Scorpius seemed to ease off, Kaos spoke up.

And let's just say he nearly said the wrong thing.

Kaos: You know it occurs to me that your description of dragons actually sounds like Mal-
Scorpius: DON'T YOU DARE SAY HIS D***ED NAME!!!

Scorpius immediately grabbed the arms of Kaos's chair and stared straight into his eyes. The motion was so sudden that Glumshanks fell to the floor in complete surprise. It seemed like hours before Scorpius regained his composure and finally backed off from a relieved Kaos and Glumshanks.

Scorpius: Forgive me for the sudden outburst sir Kaos. This subject you brought up is a... sensitive subject, for me. Consider it a sign of how I deeply wish for my tribe's warship to be repaired and updated to modern standards. Please, you are one of the few people who trust trolls and we need this great ship repaired. If you need out services in exchange for your assistance, then I'll see to it that we do what we can. Please.
Glumshanks: 😟 W-Well, at least he apologized, I guess. A-and hey, maybe this guy could be your answer to finally getting even with Spyro, Lord Kaos.
Scorpius: I would listen to this troll of yours Kaos. We'll be quite useful to you and your army. Anything to repair the Dark Dragonslayer. You know," I scratch your back and I scratch yours"? Come now, this should be easy for you to decide.

Kaos thought about it. He already figured out that this Scorpius fellow was quite serious about what he was doing. He knew what he wanted, and how to get it. Kaos had honestly had his eyes on the Anti-claws for a while now, but he always figured they'd be as near idiotic as the rest of the trolls. And you know, Kaos actually did have some "jobs" that he figured Scorpius could do for him. One in particular, one that's been in the back of his mind for awhile now, he figured Scorpius certainly wouldn't turn down.

Kaos: ....Actually, I'm very interested in this ship of yours, (clears throat) Scorpius. And, I suppose, there are a couple of things you may possibly do for me.
Scorpius: Continue sir Kaos.
Kaos: Well, you and your tribe specialize in hunting dragons right? Well, some years ago there was this dragon I wished to either have join my army or have captured. I went after him myself, and yet he was able to defeat me like that! (Snaps fingers)
Glumshanks: He literally sneaked up behind you and you fainted-
Kaos: Silence fool! The point is, this dragon has been making quite a reputation for himself. Especially the years after I attempted to capture him. He even took down the Lion's Pride and it's captain! He has a plethora of powers, even some I sensed were the likes of something truly incredible.
Scorpius: I have heard rumors of such a creature. Rumor has it he can even wipe out an entire species, though I doubt that to be true. However, if you say that you've actually seen said dragon, then I'd be very interested in finding him for you. In exchange for helping us repair the Dark Dragonslayer, of course.
Kaos: I knew you'd say that! Glumshanks, tell the trolls they can go to the site of this great warship at once!
Glumshanks: Yes Lord Kaos.

Glumshanks walked out the door, walking around Scorpius slighty as he pasted him. Scorpius had heard of this dragon that Kaos speaks of. Though they were mostly rumors and gossip as far as Scorpius could tell. Until now.

Scorpius: Thank you Kaos. Tell me, do you know this dragon's name by chance? I've never managed to catch it personally.
Kaos: Let me think..... I believe it was, uh.... Eteru! That's it! Eteru!
Scorpius: Then I'll see to it that, if and when we capture this "Eteru", that we hand him to you before all else, Lord Kaos.

Hopefully you all are aware who Kaos and Glumshanks are. Kaos, the evil Dark Portal Master and Glumshanks, the strangely tall troll butler that is actually a really sweet guy once you get pass the fact he serves Kaos the crazy midget there. Seriously Glumshanks actually sacrificed himself to save Skylanders Academy from the Sky Eater in Skylanders Superchargers. That scene gave me the feels man.

Anyhow, sorry if it seemed like a while to update this book. I've actually been trying to update some of my other books, plus draw more stuff for my Devaintart profile, not to mention trying to deal with my lack of WiFi here at home. It's crazy, believe me. Trying to balance everything, you know?
