With Amity, she got a call on her radio.

"Yeah?" Amity asked as she answered the radio.

"We need you at the boss' office."

"On it. Can I ask why?" Amity asked.

"He just says it's important."

"Okay then." Amity said.

Amity put her radio away and headed to the boss's office, where her fiancé was still waiting. Amity saw Luz when she arrived.

"Luz? What's going on?"

"I can explain that." The boss said. "I just approved of a little expedition Luz wants to embark on and she wants you to be on her team."

"Of course she does." Amity said.

"She doesn't trust anyone as much as she trusts you." The boss said.

'Well, we have seen every inch of each other, not much to hide from after that.' Amity thought.

"I mean, we are getting married."

"I know. And my early congratulations, I hope to receive an invitation to the wedding." He said with a chuckle. "Anyway, I'm sure you'll be able to finish this expedition before your wedding date."

"With this one?" Amity asked pointing at Luz, "I'm fully expecting her to say we should get married in the jungle."

"I could persuade a Jaguar to be the minister." Luz said.

That was no joke, Luz would actually do that. Amity rolled her eyes.

"Please don't."

"Hehehehehe, sure. Anyway, after today, you will both have two months for this expedition." The boss said, shocking Amity.

"TWO MONTHS?!" Amity shouted, looking at a calm and smiling Luz. "You told him you need two months?!"

"Actually, he pitched two months. Turns out I have a LOT of vacation days saved up." Luz said.

Amity face palmed.

"I truly can't leave you for a minute." Amity said.

"Hehehe, sorry but I really love this job." Luz said as she and Amity left the office.

"I know but you need to take a day off every now and then." Amity said to her.

"Well, I'm about to take a lot of them."

Amity rolled her eyes at this as the rest of the day carried on, Luz telling all of the animals under her care about her long trip that she'll be taking with her wife-to-be. Safe to say, the youngest DIDN'T like this. Luz had a feeling this would happen.

"It's okay, it's okay. It's not the end of the world." Luz said before she was tackled to the ground by forty nine baby gators!

"Uh... a little help?" Luz asked.

From the side, Tank and Bullet were watching their children swarming Luz and chittering all over her. They still couldn't talk yet but they could tell they sounded upset.

"We'll try but you have to understand they're upset." Bullet said, walking over to Luz.

"Yeah, well... I have to do this." Luz said, "Ow!"

Marshmallow nipped Luz's ear.

"Aww, Marshmallow is gonna miss you the most." Tank said.

"I can guess." Luz said as she flinched from Marshmallow nibbling her ear again.

"Don't worry, I'll be back." Luz said.

Marshmallow pulled away and chittered a bit with a sad look in her eyes, telling Luz that she'll miss her. Luz was basically a godmother to all of them and she was gonna be missed greatly during her trip.

"Don't worry your little white head, I'll be back before you know it." Luz said, "Maybe you'll be able to speak when I get back."

The babies got off, only for Tank and Bullet to rest their heads on Luz.

"Oh, come on!" Luz said.

"Sorry, Luz. We'd miss you too." Tank said with a smirk on his face.

"Who else could understand us as well as you after all?" Bullet asked.

"You couldn't have let me stand up first?" Luz asked, "I guess I should be lucky its just your heads, you two combined weigh about as much as a small car.

"Not true. I've been exercising a bit more than usual." Bullet said to her.

"Sure you have." Tank said, saying that was a lie.

"Dear, you are above average." Bullet said, "That's a lot even for reptiles, and we have been around since the dinosaurs."

"What can I say, I'm still the King." Tank said.

Bullet scoffed at this, shaking her head as she and him moved off of Luz.

"I think should mention that Komodo Dragons are considered to be the kings of the reptile kingdom." Luz said as she stood up.

"Komodo Dragons? HA! They don't seem so tough!" Tank said, not intimidated, "We've been around longer than they have."

"I think you've both been around a long time." Luz said as she turned to leave.

Amity was having a much easier time.

"Don't worry guys, I'll be back before you know it." Amity said to the giraffes, unable to understand them but seeing they were upset.

All of the giraffes began licking her. Amity laughed at this, finding their tongues tickling her with each lick.

"Okay, okay! I love you guys too!" Amity said between giggled as she pushed some away.

"Why would anyone ever think you guys are demons?"

'Thankfully you don't know.' They all thought, glad Amity is the only witch that doesn't see them as monsters.

They never hurt anyone, they just didn't like the flashing lights from Witch spells and scared them away from their feeding ground.

'I wish they could only understand us like you do Amity.' The leader giraffe thought as they all moved away from Amity.

"I'll be back before you know it." Amity said, before looking at a pregnant one, "Hopefully I'll be there for the birth of your calf."

"I agree." The pregnant giraffe said to her, but Amity still couldn't understand.

Amity gave them one last smile and headed out... but she didn't head to the apartment... she went to see Eda.

'I need to know what dad knows about my... dream.'
