Next day...

Preeta was shown getting ready in her room. She was having a wide smile on her face and a little change in her appearance. She immediately went for office.

Karan was on his way to office, his face was having disappointed expressions.

Karan : karan... karan... Aaj tak to tu saanp se bhi nahi dara, jitna wo bajarbatti se darna padta hai (sighs) ohh god... Aakhir, wo hai bhi to saanpo ki raani hi na (laughs)...

They bother reached office at the same time. Karan was shocked seeing her at same time with his. He gulped, and put a fake smile on face. Preeta was aware of his timing in office, so she is here today. Karan moved towards her, as he was damn sure she'll ignore her.

Karan : (nervously) hii.. hii preeta...

Preeta acted to notice him now.

Preeta : ohh hii karan, good morning (smiles) chalo...

And her wish left him in utter shock.

Karan : (shocked) isne mujhe wish kiya ?

It is definitely not her piece of cake.

Karan : (gulps) kuch to bohot khatarnak chal Raha hai iske khurafati dimaag me. Lekin maine to sirf itna kaha tha ki uski dress sahi karni thi, usme itna kya gussa (cry baby face). Waise wo mujhse gussa hai kyu maine use bina permission touch kiya, ya romance ko touch ka naam diya.... (Got confused) nahi nahi .. lekin use romance thodi kehte hai, wo to ek baby kiss bhi nahi tha. Ek baar usse confession ho jaayega na fir use bataunga asli romance kya hota hai.

He smiled widely and went inside the office. He was in his cabin when one peon came to him.

Peon : sir may I come in ?

Karan : yes...

Peon : sir, piya mam ne aapke liye ek notice bheji hai.

Karan : (murmurs) ab kaunsi musibat bheji hai.... (Clears throat) haa boliye na...

Peon : wo... Aaj aapki extra shift hai sir.

He wides his eyes.

Karan : (shocked) whatttt ? Lekin...

Peon : sir mujhe khaali itna kehne kaha aapse. Ab mai chalt hu.

He stood up.

Karan : aree...lekin aise Kaise yaaar ? (Get annoyed)... Ye kya baat hui, extra shift kis Khushi me, ye na....

He turned around murmuring but saw piya standing at door with hands folded and she raised eyebrows. Karan's words sticked in his mouth, he stopped and gave a nervous smile.

Pia : so Mr. Luthra, you were saying something ?

Karan : (nervously) no..no mam, nothing (fake laugh)

Pia : good...

She went from there. Karan sighed.

Karan : (annoyed) ye dono na.. Inka kuch nahi ho sakta.... (Sighs)

He gets back to his work. Time was passing, but he didn't saw preeta, whenever he tries to meet her, but always finds some excuse from someone. Day passed finally.
Karan was informed to get his list of extra works from someone, as mostly everyone has went. He came out of his cabin, and remaining two or three person too were leaving.

Karan : (scared) what the hell !! Matlab mujhe yaha akela kaam karna hai, hey bhagwaan aapko bhi babydoll version 2.0 banna tha, wo ek kam thodi thi mujhpar (makes cry baby face)

His gaze went on preeta's cabin, of which dim lights were still on.

Karan : (surprised) preeta abhi tak nahi gai. Dekh leta hu ek baar...

He went there. He can sense different smell of scent, he was a bit confused. He opened the door, and what he saw next was just unbelievable...

Whole room was having dim yet aromatic light, walls were covered with preeran's each photographs. Thier sweet memories in video format were playing in lamp.

His jaw was dropped and he couldn't understand what was going on. His gaze went on preeta standing next to projector, with a smile on her face and extremely beautifully dressed. Karan's lips turned into smile.

Being proposed by girl is something more than a dream for boys....

Karan went towards preeta, stood infront of her. She was looking down with a smile on face. She took the operator to play her special video for him as planned. She played it.

But the next moment was something so terrible for her. The presentation of an meeting played up automatically instead of the planned video.

Preeta wide her eyes then she realized she mistook pendrive from home in excitement. Her happiness turned into sadness, tears started to form in her eyes. Karan understood everything well.  Karan stepped further. Preeta looks into his eyes.

Preeta : (tearfully) I am sorry.... Aab kharab...

But she was hushed by karan. He quiet her.

Karan : shh...aisa kuch nahi hua hai..

Preeta : (tearfully) lekin...

Karan : lekin kuch nahi hua hai. It's ok babydoll (wipes her tears) tumhaare efforts is more than anything for me. I want nothing else. Gladly tum ho wohi bas hai ...

She chuckled. Karan rest his head against her.

Preeta : Mai sab kharab kar Diya na... I made mess na...

Karan : (closed eyes) nahi, kuch nahi kiya, if you are mess, than I am in love with that mess...

She shockingly saw her. Karan smiled.

Karan : yes babydoll, I love you so much...

She was so shocked, it was just unexpected, confession frim his side. Before preeta could understand anything, Karan placed his lips on her shocking her more. But preeta smiled, and reciprocated.

If she is mess, then he loves that mess more than anything...
