Rishabh came back to his place and karan too sat beside him. Karan was still gave an annoyed look and rishabh giggled.

Rishabh wrapped his hand around karan's neck.

Rishabh : ab bol kya hua hai ?

Karan : (looking at him) rishabh, mujhe na tension ho rahi hai, aur mere kuch samajh me bhi nahi aa raha hai. Matlab, wo mahira ke accident ki baat abhi tak nahi gayi meri dimaag se.

Rishabh : hein ? Wo waali baat, wo to sab sort ho gaya na karan, aur aaj ka bhi Holi ka din itna accha gaya, aur tu abhi tak wohi baat lekar baitha hai.

Karan : ha I know, lekin mujhe ek dar hai rishabh. Maine na, mahira ki aankhon me preeta ke liye gussa aur nafrat dekhi hai. Mujhe strongly doubt hai ki sherlyn mahira ko mislead kar rahi hai preeta ke against. Aur.....

Mujhe ab bhi samajh me nahi aa raha hai jab preeta ne mahira ka accident hi nahi karwaaya to wo us video mai aai kaha se, kaisee ? Mujhe preeta pe bharosa hai wo aise nahi kar sakti, us driver ne qubool kiya , fir kaise aai wo. Ye sab mere.....

Rishabh : (interrupting him) karan....karan....Karan .......

Karan stopped his words.

Rishabh : shaant ho tu pehle. Ekdam calm ho, hyper mat ho, koi solution nahi niklega aise.

Karan nodded.

Rishabh : dekh karan, pehle to tujhe preeta ji pe bharosa hai na, bas baat khatam, ye soch na ki zaroori nahi wo video hi sahi ho. And jis tarah tune unpar is baat ko lekar bharosa kiya hai na, waise hi dusre baato par bhi yakeen kar, ho sakta hai sab solution nikal aaye.

Karan's attention suddenly captured towards rishabh by his last line. He just looked at rishabh with unknown intensions of his.

Rishabh : (continued) aur na ye sab chod, jaa pehle tu preeta ji ke paas jaa. Tume unhe yaha to ruka liya lekin wo ab bhi akeli hai, kyunki sirf aaj ki holi ki wajah se accept hui wo is ghar me, wo bohot akela feel kar rahi hogi. Jaa tu.

Karan : ha Bhai. Chal good night so jaa tu.

Rishabh smiled and passing smile again, karan went from there.

Screen switched to preeta sitting at the terrace feeling lonely.

At the soundless night, and the lone one sitting there seeing the sleeping city, Chill wind blowed, blowing her strand on her face. Preeta closed her eyes.

The silent wind was talking to her, vanishing her loneliness. Preeta removed hairs from her face. The slight moonlight falling on her face was all the support she was having.

From nowhere, suddenly an emptiness rised in her. That time she recalled all the past happenings and the injustice done to her which she seems to forget these days.

Preeta : (in mind) na jaane kyu aaj sab yaad aa raha hai, jo mai bhool rahi thi. Accha hi hai, mujhe bhi yeh ehsaas rehna chaahiye ki ye sab to do din karan ka behavior hai, fir wohi uska badla, uski nafrat, aur sab kuch waisa hi..... Jab uske liye Shaadi koi mayne nahi rakhi, to ye do din ki acchai kya hi hai.......

She closed her eyes softly, and tear fall from her eye.

Behind her, terrace door was being opened, but literally without any noise. Silently, karan entered in.

He took three steps, but not more than that. His steps weren't going ahead. He raised his hand, but it too seems not working.

There, he stood speechless but maybe with unshed tears.

His presence weren't recognizable for anyone, but not for her.

His soundless words too were visible for her and his feel less existence too.

Preeta : (without turning) saara sach pata chal gaya ?

Karan raised his head, still didn't uttered a word.

Preeta slightly chuckled and stood up, without turning only, she was about to go other side, but karan held her hand.

Karan : preeta.....

She closed her eyes wanting to go, but still want to stop.

Karan : preeta I am.....

He too closed his eyes.

Suddenly karan's grip loosen on her hand, and the hold disappeared.

But still, both remained in same position.

Just then, karan came infront if her.

Preeta raised her head, their gaze met.

Her tearful eyes showing pain, and his guilty eyes wanting her back.

Slowly, karan cupped preeta's face.

Karan : preeta...... I know I was.... wrong, maine......bohot galat kiya......

Suddenly preeta look in his eyes, and again his words stuck. Karan stopped.

He knew what he was saying was not at all worthy. Still he was trying because after one mistake he couldn't continue it by letting her go.

Yes, he was having fear - what if she go ?

Karan : please preeta, will you......
Tum mujhe........

Being karan luthra, he never learnt to bow. But this time, a small apologizing word is so small infront of his deeds, that's why he wasn't using it.

Preeta understood what he wants to say and she also understood his situation.

Taking a deep breath, he continued.

Karan : can you please give me one chance ?

Karan said with hoping and tear glittering eyes.

Preeta removed his hands from her face and looked other side.

Karan again hold her hand.

Karan : preeta please.... I want... I want you....I want your..... your chance please preeta.....

Preeta turned towards him.

Preeta : (tearfully) I am telling you pleasee karan. Mai koi khilauna nahi hu, jo tumhaare hisaab se chale, jab tum chaaho nafrat dikhaao, jab chaho.... pyaar dikhaao, jab chaaho dil dhukaao, jab chaaho maafi maang lo..... Tum... (Sniffed) tum sab mujhse sab expect nahi kar sakte karan....

Karan : nahi preeta aisa nahi hai.

Tears welled up in his eyes too.

Preeta : (softly) aisa hi hai...

Karan : nahi preeta (tearfully) sachme...

Preeta : jhooth hai, aisa hi hai.

Karan move forward and cupped her eyes.

Karan : nahi preeta sachme....

Preeta immediately jerked his hands and shouted.

Preeta : (shouts) aisa hi hai, jhooth hai, sab jhooth. Tumne hamesha mujhe sirf use kiya apne Matlab ke liye.....

Karan was about to speak but preeta wasn't letting him to... And she continued.

Preeta : hamesha tumne apna matlab dekha aur apne faisle liye. Jab man kiya aa gaye nafrat karne, jab man kiya aa gaye pyaar dikhaane, jab man kiya aa gaye care karne, jab man kiya aa gaye raste me chodne, abhi bhi kaha tumhaara dil bhara hoga na, ab kal tumhaare man karega, to aa jaaoge one night stand.....

Karan : (roared loudly raising hand) preetaaa.....

Karan's hand immediately raised on preeta listening her last line, and preeta hide her face.

Karan stopped realizing what he was going to do, Preeta to stopped her words.

The brief silence prevailed the surrounding. Karan slowly took his hand back, and in a while preeta started sobbing.

Karan felt guilty and took a deep breath.

Preeta continued to sob.

Karan took a step ahead and held preeta hand.

Karan : preeta....

Preeta jerked his hand.

Karan brought preeta closer, while she was wriggling.

Karan : preeta...... Dekho I didn't mean it.....

Preeta : (crying) hattoo, bohot bure ho tum, bohot...hattoo....

Karan atlast cage her in his arms and preeta stopped struggling, but continued crying.

Karan : I am really......

He closed his eyes and preeta too knew he won't use the word.

Karan : dekho I didn't mean it. Tum aisi baate mat kiya karo, seriously.

Preeta was calm a bit, karan was stroking her hairs. Karan tighten the hug.

Preeta broke the hug and look at karan.

Karan : (looking deep in her eyes) mai sachme bohot bura hu, tum hamesha sahi thi aur ho, sherlyn ke matter me bhi aur mere matter me bhi. Sherlyn ne hi galat kiya hai, and mai bhi bohot bada duffer hu jo aisa kiya.

Preeta was still looking at him but with angry and upset gaze.

Karan : (with cute face) lekin tum na, aisa mat bola karo, tumhe pata hai na mera khoon khaul jaata hai aisa kuch bhi tumhaare baare me sunkar.

Preeta nodded head wiping tears.

Karan wrapped his hands around her and told...

Karan : preeta, I know, and really realized maine bohot galat kiya tha, jiska mujhe repent bhi hai, lekin maine koi chote words kehkar, ya sunaakar maafi nahi maangni, mujhe tumhaari maafi chaahiye, wo bhi dil se.

Preeta : aur na mujhe sunaa hai karan, tumhe pachtaava hai mere liye yahi bohot hai. And I also know tumne jaan pucjhkar nahi kiya tha, lekin fir bhi tumhaari galti thi, and tumne wo maane, wohi mere liye bohot Khushi ki baat hai.

Preeta completed her lines.

A happy smile captured karan's lips, while a real one made it's way to preeta.

They both look at each other and find their solace after really so long. That peace, that calmness, that love, and that forgiveness was all the thing they wanted though.

Preeta : waise tumhe kaise pata Chala ?

Karan : us video ki wajah se, and kritika be bataya.

Preeta smiled. And stared him for a minute.

Karan stepped, and embraced preeta, while she kept her head oh his shoulder and like their world completed.

Karan : (while hugging) pata hai, tumhaare saath, ya tumse door, mujhe sirf tum chaahiye, bas.... kuch bhi ho jaaye, mujhe ehsaas hua hai, tumhaare bina mai kabhi pura nahi hu.

Preeta : hmm....

The only word she responded because she was busy in enjoying his warmth. Karan was too busy in enjoying her fragnance.

.....And the minutes ago's deep silence was turned into passionate one, brighten by the witnesser : moon.....

Although he was wrong, his repentance made him her's...
And her silent forgiveness as his's....
