Most things just are what they are....

Jack Kelly, how to describe such a guy is no easy feat. He's cool, he's hip, he's a leader, he's hot. Freaking hot and Katherine finds herself fanning her face in response to his closeness. His dark hair and blue eyes seem to capture her and take her prisoner. She could of easily fallen into his arms an stayed there for all she cared but she couldn't, they had a strike to win.

And not what we wish they could be...

She couldn't get lost in his eyes, she shouldn't kiss him and yet... there she was, looking at his beautiful endless eyes and kissing his perfect lips.

She's in love, she just knows it. It feels like she's flying, like she's free.

Katherine's never been in love before, sure she has a mother and father that love her but never herself had she fallen for someone. Never had she dreamed of finding someone who would love her back, it was like finding the sun after a dark day. It was Gratifying and warm and bright!

And yet... he was going to leave her, this wonderful boy that had flirted with her... this perfect man that had stood up for what he believed in. He was going to leave her for some place out west... some place that wasn't next to her.

But maybe she still had a chance, after all didn't he feel the same about her? Wasn't he just as lost in her as she was in him? Couldn't she ask him to stay? Or maybe... just maybe she should do something else...

Maybe she could come with him. Would he like that? Would that be enough to convince him to stay? Could she really throw her life away to be with him?

So why not give in and let go?

"Ya know..." Jack says scratching the back of his neck as he looked at Katherine. "After this is all over I'm gonna be heading out for real... I was just wondering...?"

"I will see you again." Katherine says sternly grabbing his hand.

"I will see you again." Jack says enjoying the way the words sound in his ears.

I will see you again, this I know.
