Chapter 10

It had been one whole day since the Tooth Fairy had left to join the tooth that Rapunzel had kept with Jack's other teeth.

Rapunzel, Merida and Hiccup were waiting in the palace garden, while Jack, Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, and Prince Eugene were in Queen Elsa's personal study.

"Jaaaaaack!" He jumped up at the Tooth Fairy's familiar voice, and rushed toward the window, from which she was already entering the room.

"Do you have them?" he inquired eagerly.

"Yes!" she squealed, nodding frantically. She handed them to him, and, reluctantly, flew back out the way she had come. She had duties to attend to.

Jack looked at Queen Elsa, and she nodded her consent. He then flew out of the door and down the hallway. Hallway after hallway he flew through, until he reached the door to the garden.

Joining his old friends, he nervously activated the tooth box. With Merida, Hiccup and Rapunzel watching, tears in their eyes, he remembered. All of his memories of them and the time during which he had known them flashed through his mind. In seconds, he watched them all, just like they were happening again.

As they finished, he opened his eyes, and a tear fell onto his cheek. Seeing that he now truly remembered them, Rapunzel lunged forward and hugged him. The other two followed her lead. He smiled as they pulled apart.

"I can't believe..." he trailed off before finishing his sentence, but the other three understood perfectly what he meant.

"I'm just so glad that you're back. I mean, I, for one, never expected to get to see you again," Rapunzel said joyfully.

"You're right. This is some second chance," Hiccup agreed.

"Do yu remember what weh said when weh last parted?" Merida asked them. They all smiled, and together they answered.

"I'll see you when we're older, and we are full of stories to be told."

"Well, let's get ta da stories den!" Merida finished happily. Hiccup grinned.

"I call first!" he exclaimed, bringing smiles from the others.

"I call second!"

"I'm third!"

"Aww, but that means I have to go last!"
