It was dark outside when they arrived at Vincent's house. The moon shined from above as they gotten out of the car and into the house.
"Well, here it is," Vincent said while taking his shoes off.
"It's nice," Violet said. She took her shoes off too.
"You can make yourself at home," Vincent said kindly. Violet smiled while walking to the kitchen.
"I'll make dinner if you don't mind," She said. Vincent gave her an approving nod and she started getting things out. He flopped himself on his couch. He was tired of driving and playing the piano all day.
"What do you want for dinner? Oh I know! I'll surprise you," She said from the kitchen. Vincent ran his fingers through is hair. He was stressed a little but he didn't mind Violet. He let her do what she wanted because he could trust her. Then, a delicious smell came from the kitchen. He knew she started making something.
"Which do you prefer, Rice or Beans?" Violet asked.
"Any you want," Vincent said. He wasn't a picky eater. He never minded anything.
"Alright," Violet said. "I like cooking."
"Then, why did you sign up for the day shift? You could've worked in the kitchen," Vincent asked in confusion.
"If I did, I would've never met you," Violet smiled. Vincent's cheeks gotten red a bit when she said that.
