Vincent looked at Violet. Her face was still hidden. He look a little sigh then back at the toaster. The toast has popped out before he realized it. He put them on separate plates and handed one to Violet.
"Here's your toast," He said. Violet took a long sigh and went back upstairs without a word. Vincent gotten confused. He put down the plates and unplugged the toaster. He went upstairs and took a guess that she went into his room. He crept up at the door so he can listen to her.
"I wonder if he'll like me back," Violet said solemnly. She sniffed at the end of the sentence. "What will my friends say? What will I say? He might not like me back... Why do you have to be so confusing, Vi?" She sniffed again. "You saw how he looked at you. He might like me back. That might be a 1 percent chance.." She sighed.
She likes someone? Who? I wish it would be me. Please let it be me.. Vincent walked into the room. "Violet?"
Violet heard him and quickly grabbed a pillow and hid her face in it. He walked up to her and sat next to her. He lifted her head up. Her face was wet with tears. She was crying!? Why?
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"N-Nothing," She lied.
"There's something wrong. Can you tell me please? It might bother you through the rest of the day."
"Fine.. I may like a certain someone but I know he doesn't like me back. He might but it feels like it's a 1 percent chance he would."
"Well, you should listen to your heart and it'll decide. Let it do what it does. Just express your feelings to him."
"Okay.." It grew silent when Violet said that. She sniffed and rubbed her eyes that were wet with tears.
"Vincent?" She asked him.
"Yeah?"
"Do you have someone you like?"
"Well, yeah. When I met her, I felt like I can trust her."
"Who is it?"
Vincent shifted around uncomfortably as that question ringed in his mind. His cheeks started to get red.
"It's uh... You," Vincent said awkwardly. Violet started to blush. She smiled.
"Well, I like you too!" She said happily while hugging him. He blushed too and hugged back.
