Once they gotten up the stairs on the first floor, the sounds upstairs grew louder. The Girl cleansed her hands on Vincent's shirt. She was getting scared. Vincent put the girl down on the couch.
"I'll go see what's going on upstairs," Vincent said while walking quietly upstairs. The Girl grabbed a blanket which was next to her and wrapped herself up in it. Vincent quietly gotten on the second floor.
"Who the hell are you? Get out!" A man said from behind Vincent. Before Vincent could even look behind him, the man pushed Vincent to the ground.
Vincent flipped himself around and saw a muscular man which looked stronger than he is. The man had black hair and his eyes were green. Vincent gotten up then the man punched him in the face.
"I'm not looking for trouble!" Vincent said while holding his jaw.
"Then get out," the man said. His tone was like he owned the house.
"It's not you're house. I'll get out when you get out," Vincent said. He shot a mad glance at him. The man shot one back. The man finally sighed and looked away.
"Fine. I'll leave," The man said. Vincent watched him leave the house. Once the guy left, Vincent went back downstairs and wiped his bloody mouth with his sleeve. The girl ran up to him, still limping.
"Are you okay, mister?" The Girl asked. She had such a cute and sympathetic look on her face.
"I'm fine. Call me Vincent or Vinny for right now. Okay?" Vincent said while picking up the girl again.
"My name is Tiffany," The girl said. Her black skirt wasn't right for this cold weather and neither was her short sleeve shirt. He put Tiffany down and gave her his coat. It was big enough to cover her knees.
"It's cold outside. So, bundle up," Vincent said while picking her up again. Tiffany wrapped her arms around his neck as if she was trying to give him a hug. He walked out and opened the passenger seat door. He settled Tiffany in and gotten himself the drivers seat. He made sure Tiffany buckled up and turned the heat on.
"Okay. Now to my house," Vincent said.

-- Violet's POV --

Violet opened her eyes and was inside Vincent's house. She heard Mike and Jeremy talking but it wasn't so clear. She prodded herself up and tried to get up but her left knee stung like a wildfire.
"Lay b-back down," Jeremy said. He looked at Violet and she looked at him. She did what she was told. She felt uncomfortable with just Mike and Jeremy there with her. What about Tiffany? Where's Vincent? Is he getting her? When will Penny get done with school? Tiffany doesn't even know who her real mom is! I feel bad for the kid. Should I tell her? Would Penny be mad if I did? Well, she'll find out one way or another.
Violet looked around and Vincent was no where in sight.
