Idk why but I have so many more ideas with akefia this way, and my chapter 2 will always suck, we know this

You awoke to a cold bed, he had done what he said, gone by dawn. Looking around you noticed it was slightly past dawn. Letting out a sigh you went along your daily chores, first wake your mistress. You put on one of the dresses she had given you, it was red with gold, one of her designs no doubt.

It was soft cotton, she did spoil you. You walked over to her door, entering slowly," mistress? " you called as you closed the door, " don't be so shy y/n when have I ever given you reason to fear me? Now come here and read this, I want no mistakes on my part" she said from her desk," yes mis-" " and stop with the formality, Nala is fine, any more babying from the palace will kill me" she said standing up and walking away form her desk, " yes Nala," walking over to her desk, you saw the parchment, it was all curses and spells, and no mistakes, the only thing was, her handwriting was a bit messy," I see no errors Nala, I think it's fine." " wonderful!" She said walking out in a blue dress, it hung off her shoulders and flowed nicely

" we are to attend my dear twins Council meeting, then I suppose your free to do what you wish, I want to perfect my magic, " she spoke kindly, but you saw her poison a man, her own uncle, he did destroy a village so you stayed quite but that memory would haunt you.
" let's go, don't want big brother to worry " she said leading you out to the palace hallways.

The way to the room was on the entirely different side of the palace, Nala's room was closer to east wing of the palace. You looked around remembering Akefia's words, look for any weakness, so far nothing but guards and servants being the usual. A large jackal or wolf perhaps, it looked like it could be either, took your attention away, it was sandy in color, and the black along its back was speckled with white, it looked at you with lavender eyes, you couldn't help but think if it was Akefia.

It just laid on the steps to the desert, it watched you walk along with Nala with cold eyes, " what's wrong y/n?" You didn't know how to explain why you were looking at the wolf, jackal thing" I know my dear, they are beautiful, elegant and free, shame people shoo them off, I like them, keeps the rodents in check " she said leading you away, taking one last look at the creature before following along.

The wolf kept bothering you, it felt familiar but at the same time dangerous. You shook your head to clear it and walked into the room where Atem and his group were. Taking seats near him it began.
It was all normal things but Nala would keep making comments and Atem would say something. Clearly the twins had different views, Akefia would like this information.
