Duskstreak was on her way to the moonstone. Even though she wasn't a medicine cat, she was seeking guidance. She was seeking answers.
"Ferretpaw!" She greeted her glittering sister. "It's so nice to see you again!"
The brown apprentice nodded. "Why have you come here?"
Duskstreak sighed. "There's a killer on the loose in our clan...."
"Oh, yeah." An orange she-cat emerged from behind. Ambermountain. "Let me guess, you want to know who it is?"
"Yes!" Duskstreak pleaded. "Who attacked you? I can report it to Stormstar and-"
"Too late," said Ambermountain, angling her chin down at Duskstreak.
Her paws were transparent. She had joined StarClan.

"Another, dead." Stormstar stood atop a large stone, his blue eyes bearing no emotion. "Duskstreak was found dead at the moonstone."
Daywing's eyes flew open. "What? No!"
Bloomnight was instantly at her side. They both wailed in grief together.
Petalbreeze and Loopfield huddled together with Novascale, sharing quiet words, as Lightningdash, Tigernose, Venomheart, and Heronmask trotted back to the Warriors' den.
"Wait!" Stormstar' booming voice stopped everybody in their tracks. Everything was silent except for Daywing's quiet sniffles. "I know now that somebody here is definitely guilty. Lightningdash!"
The yellow tom jumped as his name was shouted.
"I accuse you!" (gotta catch em' all!)
