Maplepool, Swiftpath, and Reahstep sadly pads into camp. After burying Nightfur, things aren't looking hopeful for the trio. The three arrives at camp.
"Lilystar..!" Reahstep chokes.
The brown leader's pelt rakes the thorn barrier of the leaders den as she pads out. "I see you are-wait..." she trails off, her eyes widening. "Where's Perchfoot?"
Swiftpath shakes his head, gulping. "We split u-up...and he-"
"He died," Lilystar finishes.
Maplepool nods sadly. "We couldn't find his body."
Lilystar leaps off of the High Rock and scrambles down to the few members of her clan.
Maplepool takes a deep breath. "Who did this?"
Lilystar's face hardens. "It was one of you."
Reahstep takes a step back. "Wha-how can you know for sure?"
"It wasn't me," Swiftpath whispers.
Lilystar raises her eye brows. "Are you sure?" Her muzzle touches the black and white tom's. "How do we know?"
"W-well, for one-"
A rustling sounds at the corner of camp.
Lilystar is too busy snarling at Swiftpath. "You murderer!" She screeches. "I knew it was you!"
"Lily...star..." chokes a voice.
Lilystar whips her head around, her eyes scouting the camp.
In the center of camp lies Reahstep. Mangled and in a puddle of blood. Beside her is Maplepool, claws stained with Reahstep's blood.
Swiftpath steps backwards. "Maplepool...no!"
Maplepool shakes her head, laughing. "How could you be so ignorant?" She takes a step forward.
Lilystar moves toward the calico predator. "How could you be so...so-"
"So what?" Maplepool whimpers, mocking her leader. "So murderous? So insane?"
"Now, let's talk about thi-"
"Swiftpath!" Maplepool barks.
The black and white tom jumps.
"Maplepool, you are hereby banished."
Maplepool widens her eyes. "Banish me?" She cries. "Banish me from what?"
Lilystar glances back at Swiftpath. "From our clan."
"Honestly," the she mews, rolling her eyes. "I'll just leave." Maplepool starts toward the entrance.
Swiftpath stands in front of the entrance, narrowing his eyes. "You're not just going to-"
"Grrr!" Maplepool growls, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
And they let her leave.

Maplepool wins.
