Okay look, I know there's this whole thing going around about bullying and how it's "decreasing" in the U.S and stuff like that because people are finally starting to change and stand up for themselves. I'm perfectly okay with that, even though I think that it decreasing is bullshit, but it flips the table when "standing up" for yourself involves bullying the bully, which is why I think it decreasing is bullshit. Because the one getting bullied, turns into the bully when that happens. There's a difference between standing up to a bully, and just being an asshole to another asshole. So, think why they might be a bully before you "stand up" to a bully, and think about how you felt when they bullied you. If it really hurt when they bullied you, you wouldn't do the same to anyone because you really know how it feels. That's including a bully. Be kind to everyone, it could be the difference between life and death.
