In the film Hercules, Hera is portrayed as Hercules's mother. But, in actual mythology, Zues commits adultry with a mortal named Alcmene making Hercules a demigod. Then, when Hera found out about this adultry, she swore vengence, so she bestowed misfortune on Hercules whereever and whenever he went.
