Authors' Note-

Hello welcome to a new story. Both of us will be working on it. Anyways here you go-

3rd Person POV-

There were 13 of them-

Grace, John, Layla, Maria, Preston, Jennifer, Michelle, Patrina, Victoria, Roberta, Brandon, Michael, and Max. 13 innocent souls..

Robbyn's POV

It was Friday the 13th, aka the cursed day. The day people believed that spirits roamed searching for victims.

Everyone believed it. Well almost everyone. Everyone but me. They don't exist. Well at least that is what I thought.....

I saw the mansion as we walked down the dark street. Last week we were dared to go into the Louiston Mansion. We were about to do it.

"Hey look! There it is!" Max yelled as he walked faster towards the abandoned house with excitement. Michelle hugged his arm tighter in fear.

Grace and John aka the fearless couple ran until they were on the steps outside the house.

"Wait up!" Victoria yells running up behind them as she breathed heavily in exhaustion.

Preston and I laughed a little as I ran past him with speed.

"Rob! You tricked me!" I heard Preston yell.

"Don't call me that! You know I hate being called Rob!" I yelled back.

Victoria's POV

As Michael creaked open the old door a chill went up my spine. Everyone else confidently walked inside and left me scared on the front porch. Eventually I walked in to see them. I saw a giant spider web in the corner. I tried to walk out regretting going in. I took a step back as a gust of wind slammed the door shut. I screamed and tried to push on the door, but nothing happened.

"I suggest we split up," Brandon said looking intensely at me. His eyes locked on me. "I wan't to find old man Louiston," he said with a slight chuckle.

Michelle eye rolled as he said it. "Isn't he like, dead?

"Yeah," he continued "Anyways I think Preston and Robbyn should go together," Brandon said as Robbyn's face turned bright red. "And we'll also have Jenny and Patrina go together cause you guys are best friends. And Victoria and I, and Grace and John, Maria and Michael, Max and Michelle, and....... um Layla you can go alone," He said glaring at Layla making her feel really uncomfortable.

With that we all split up.

Max's POV

Michelle and I went up the stairs to get to the next floor. With each step we took there would be the sound of squeaking boards. When we arrived at the top of the stairs I saw about five bedrooms and lots of spider webs.

"Isn't it a lot of rooms for just one person, right?" I said trying to lighten the mood. Michelle shrugged and continued walking down the hallway. The only light we had was a faint glow from the sun that came through the boarded up windows. "It's like we're in the movies," I said trying to make it not so dead quiet. "In a haunted house and trapped in. Kinda cool right?"

"I just want to get out of here," she muttered with her arms crossed.

I creaked open a door at the end of the hall to see a bay window room with sun shining right through the glass windows. There were light colored silk curtains pulled to the side with metal hooks. In the center was a large bed with curtains. There was also an rectangular embroidered rug in the middle of the floor. It was dull shades of green and brown.

Then something stuck out. It was bright red. Could it be blood? "You don't think?" I said looking at Michelle. "Louiston could've been murdered in here!" I yelled a little too loud.

"Maybe we should find the others..." Michelle said walking out.

"No way! We need to explore!"

"We need to get out of here!" she said getting more angry by the second.

"Fine," I said as we walked to the foyer. The old wooden boards underneath us creaked with each step.

After about 10 minutes we all gathered together. "Where is.... Layla?" Grace said worryingly.

"And Preston!?" Robbyn yelled as a loud gust of wind howled outside. Everyone jumped and got really scared.

"You were with him," John told Robbyn. "If anyone knows, you'd be the one." he said glaring at her. "Ok, if we're going to find them we best split up."

"Here's the plan- The girls look for Layla and the boys will look for Preston" Brandon chimed in. And with that we split up. Again.

Jennifer's POV

"I know she went this way," I said walking to the door beneath the stair case. It was wide open, just how she left it. We all climbed down the steep ladder that lead to the cellar. Once we got down we saw Layla, on the cement floor, laying in a puddle of bright, red blood. (dun dun dun)

"Maybe she just fell off the ladder," Robbyn said. "I kind of remember hearing her scream."

"And you didn't tell anyone!?" I questioned her.

"Nope," she responded simply.

Grace, realizing she had lost her friend, begun to cry and leaned on Maria's shoulder. She usually thought of Maria as a stuck up brat but I didn't think she cared. She was broken.

John's POV

We all carefully crept up the old wooden stairs searching for Preston. It was about 11 o'clock at night and we were walking around in a potential haunted house. What were we thinking?

"I bet old man Louiston murdered them!" Max yelled chuckling a bit.

"Murder is no joke," Michael said, always trying to be the most intelligent. "We may be in a building with a killer. A deadly killer," That kind of shook everyone in the room.

"Well then who is it?" I asked skeptically.

"I don't know. But let's just keep looking for him. He could just be lost in the maze of a house." Michael responded.

After about 10 minutes of searching for him we noticed something. I carefully walked closer to it to see Preston, lying on the ground in the kitchen, with a butcher's knife in his back. (dun dun dun)

"Rob's gonna be heartbroken," Brandon said looking at the ground.

"Yeah," I responded.
