Hiro (POV)
So after we finished shopping and Sinon taught Kirito and I how to shoot, we concluded our shopping and headed back outside.
Hiro- Hey, thanks for doing this for us. It's really appreciated. You probably had better things to do than help a some nubes.
Sinon- No, I was happy to help. They're aren't many girl players here or any other players as interesting as you. I wasn't doing anything and it was a good way to kill some time before the prelims.
Kirito (girl voice)- Wait, you're gonna compete in BOB too?
Sinon- Yeah, I already told Hiro and we already have challenged each other to a match. (Looks at clock above us) Oh my god they're closing soon!
Hiro- Wait really?! Shit, I'm so sorry. It's our fault for keeping you.
Sinon- No it's mine for not keeping track of the time. Whatever let's hurry.
We start to book it to the governors office.
Kirito (girl voice)- We're never gonna make it. Can't we just teleport over there?
Sinon- I wish. That only happens when you respawn at a revival point after you die. And we can't suicide ourselves to get there either because in town, our HP never goes down. The governors office is a least three kilometers away. It's gonna take us five minutes to sign up. So we'd have to get there in three. Don't close. Please don't close until we get there.
I look around and spot two three wheeled motorcycles with backseats.
Hiro- That's it.
I grab Sinon's hand and take over to the bikes. I put her in the back while I paid for the use of the bike and turned it on.
Hiro- You better hang on and Kirito, try to to keep up.
As Kirito got on the other bike, I sped through the railing in front of me and landed on the highway. I felt hand wrap around the back of me and Sinon put her head on my shoulder.
Sinon- Wait, I thought these things were super hard to handle. How come you can drive this?
Hiro- I have my ways. Plus I drive a bike IRL. Are you ok?
Sinon- (laughs) Yeah I'm fine. This is awesome. Let's go faster.
Hiro- You just read my mind.
I hit the gas and we zoom off faster towards the office.
Timeskip
We make to the office with Kirito arriving right after us.
Hiro- Come on. We only have five minutes.
Sinon- This way.
She gets off and grabs my hand and all three of us rush inside. We make inside and Sinon leads us to the sign in kiosk.
Sinon- Here we are. It's your typical run of the mill touch interface. Think you guys can handle it or do y'all want some help?
Kirito (girl voice)- Nah, we can figure it out.
Sinon- Cool. I'm gonna be over at the next terminal so if you get stuck just holler.
Hiro- Copy General Sinon.
She chuckles and turns to leave but stops after a step.
Hiro- Uh Sinon, my hand.
He turns around and realizes that she's still holding my hand.
Sinon- (blushes) Right Right Right Right.
He lets me go and hurriedly leaves to her terminal. I go to my nearest terminal and begin registration.
Hiro *mind*- The Hell is this? We have to enter our IRL information? Maybe this is how that Death Gun guy got people's IRL information......Nah.....
I just enter my name and clicked send as I felt the feeling of being watched. I exit my terminal and Kirito and Sinon do the same.
Hiro- Thanks for all your help today Sinon. Sorry if we caused you any trouble.
Sinon- No worries. That buggy ride more than made up for it. Anyway, which block did you two end up in the prelims?
Kirito- G.
Hiro- F. F 30
Sinon- Really? I'm F 12. Looks like we get to have our fated match after all Hiro.
Hiro- Hell Yeah.
Sinon- It looks like we're not gonna cross paths until the finals. If a player makes it to the final bracket if the prelims, it doesn't matter who wins or loses. They automatically advance to the battle royale. That means all three of us have a shot of making it to the battle royale as long as we make it to the last bracket. If we do make it to the finals in the prelims, (serious look) I'm playing to win. I'm not gonna go easy on you Hiro.  I'm gonna blast a hole in your skull.
Hiro- (grins) Not before I cut you in half.
Sinon- (smirks) Alright then. It's on. Let's head to the prelims area. It's in the basement.
We get in the elevator and start to head down. I stand next to Sinon and whisper in her ear.
Hiro- (whisper) Ok, you seem like a really cool person so I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. And I had no part in this.
Sinon- (whispers) Okay. What is it.
Hiro- (whispers) Kirito ain't as she seems. I told her not to do it when we first ran into you and I told her it was her own fault when you caught her. Trust me, I tried to stop her so don't get mad at me when you find out.
Sinon- (whispers) What's she hiding?
Hiro- (whispers) You'll find out soon enough.
We exit the elevator and we see all the players who were participating give us a stare.
Hiro- I'm gonna go change and get ready. I'll meet you two at a table.
Sinon- Sounds good. Come on Kirito.
Kirito follows her but turns his head around and mouths "help me"
I just chuckle and wave at him then go to my changing area. I change into my new outfit and equip my weapons.

Hiro- I take back what I said earlier. It's kinda a tie between my ALO body and this one. I look awesome.
I exit the room and find an open booth.
A couple minutes pass by and I spot Sinon and Kirito with a slap mark on his face coming towards me.

Sinon- (angry) I believe HE is with you?
Hiro- Look I said I tried to stop him and he wanted to keep going with it because he thought you wouldn't help us if was just dudes. I said that's fucked up. That's why I straight up told you I was a dude and you were cool with it. Kirito here is a dumbass despite being my best friend. Plus I consider you a friend so I gave you a heads up.
Sinon-.......You did.
Hiro- So are we cool?
Sinon-........(Gentle smile) Yeah sure. But Kirito and I are not.
Kirito- Aw come on!
Hiro- Hey Sinon, do me a favor and slap the shit out of Kirito again for me.
Sinon- With pleasure.
Kirito- W-Wait!
She slaps his other cheek and Kirito falls into the booth. I scoot to my right a bit and pat the open space signaling for Sinon to sit down. She does.
Hiro- Would you mind giving us any last minute advice.
Sinon- I wouldn't mind telling you but Kirito has to leave.
Kirito- Really?!
Hiro- Come on Sinon. I know he fucked up and I'll personally kick his ass for you personally but let him stay.
Sinon-...........(Sigh) Alright fine. You win.
