Hiro (POV)
I'm back in the game and I'm back at the tavern with the Sleeping Knights and Asuna. We were going over strategy.
Yukki- Sounds like a good lineup. What do you think Hiro?
I give a thumbs up.
Yukki- Asuna?
Asuna looks a bit sad as she's lost in thought.
Hiro- Yo Asuna!
This startles her out of her little trance.
Asuna- Ah yes. So Yukki, Jun, and Tecchi are up front. Then Talken and Nori are midrange. And Siune you're the backup?
Siune- Mhmm.
Asuna- Well if you're the cover maybe I should hang back as the rearguard.
Yukki- Yeah I fell bad you're not up front when you're so good with a sword.
Asuna- Oh I don't mind at all. I'm afraid I'm not much good as a tank. Anyway, I'm more curious to see whether Jun and Tecchi can survive A proper beat down.
Jun- Ah don't worry about us. We can handle it.
Asuna- What will you be doing Hiro?
Hiro- Well since I'm a separate person and technically not a party, I just come in whenever I'm needed. You could say I'm sort of an emergency call.
Asuna- Sounds good. Now are we ready to take a peek at that boss room?
Everyone- Yeah!
We take a trip to the floor dungeon and begin our mission. Oh course we encounter enemy NPC's but we clear them out with ease.
Asuna- Wow. They're so good as a team. I wonder if they need us after all.
Yukki turns her head and eyes me in the back. She slows down her pace and walks next to me in the back.
Hiro- You guys are seriously kicking tis dungeon's ass. We guys are some worthy players.
Yukki- Yeah well, we try our best. You haven't pulled out your sword once this entire time.
Hiro- Well you guys keep killing the opposition before I can take them out. Goes to show how amazing your team and you are.
She smiles and I notice her cheeks get a small shade of pink as she blushes.
Yukki- T-Thank you. That means a lot coming from you Hiro.
Her face lights up in a smile when the boss room comes into view.
Yukki- Hey it's the boss room! Come on Hiro!
She grabs my arm with both hands and rushes past everyone with me in tow.
The others catch up and we come to a halt.
Asuna does a spell and the spell reveals three players of another guild who were hiding using invisibility.
Guy 1- Woah we're not here to fight you.
Hiro- Then lower your weapons now.
They do as they're told.
Hiro- Siune, keep a close eye on them. If they try anything, hit them with a binding spell.
Siune- Got it. Hehe, this is our first ever PVP and it's kind of thrilling.
I turn my attention back to the other players.
Hiro- What was the point in hiding if you weren't PK'ers?
Guy 1- We we're waiting for someone. We were hiding so we don't get hit by a mob before our friends get here. You know how it is.
Asuna- All right then. We're here to take on the boss. So if you're not ready yet, we'd like to take a crack at it first.
Guy 1- N-No that's cool. We'll just be here and watch your backs in there. You're gonna need it.
They go back invisible and we proceed.
Hiro- Pay them no mind Yukki. Your plan is solid. Just stick to it and you'll be fine.
Yukki- Okay.
Jun- Instead of just scoping it out, we should just bust in and trash it.
Asuna- If you want to go for it, by all means. Just make sure not to use your expensive potions to recover. Siune and I will support you with healing spells so fight hard but try not to get too far in the red. If you die don't respawn right away. Hang out and study the boss's attack patterns. Then let's meet back at the save point and talk about what we learned ok?
Everyone- Roger that!
