"Mmm... Good morning, Tikki." Marinette murmured with a yawn. She didn't hear a response. Marinette rubbed her eyes and looked over to see her kwami not there.

"Tikki?!" Marinette called again, leaping out of bed and searching her bedroom. She fled down the staircase.

"Mom, Dad have you seen-" Marinette broke off to see her prents feeding Tikki some cookies.

"Good afternoon, Marinette! Jeez, you slept for a while! Tikki woke up and she was hungry." Mr. Dupain-Cheng chuckled.

"She is just so cute!" Mrs. Dupain-Cheng said, gazing at the small kwami.

"Thank you! But, I need to speak with Marinette for a moment." Tikki exclaimed, finishing her cookie and flying up to Marinette.

"What's the matter, Tikki?" Marinette asked as she followed her kewami onto her balcony.

"Marinette, I had a strange calling last night..." Tikki murmured.

"Calling?" Marinette urged her kwami to explain.

"Well, kwami's can detect sudden power shortages or improvements of the other miraculous. I felt one... Coming from the Butterfly." Tikki explained. Marinette's eyes widneed.

"So... Does that mean... Hawkmoth is getting stringer?" Marinette whimpered.

"Possibly. The power may not be physicial, it is most likely a mental power he has recieved, like something learned." Tikki reassured her.

"What could he have learned?" Marinette wondered fretfully.

"I couldn't imagine, but I doubt it's too serious." Tikki giggled, lightening the mood.

"Yeah. I'm going to think about this, you can go inside." Marinette said. Tikki nodded and flew back inside. Marinette sat on her chair and contemplated what her kwami just told her. She looked out to see a dark figure running across rooftops. She narrowed her eyes to see her feline companion, Cat Noir. Marinette smiled. Cat Noir looked up to scan the terrain. Marinette leapt down behind the table so he wouldn't see her watching him, but Marinette was too slow, she heard light footsteps growing closer.

"Enjoying the view?" He asked, looking over to see Marinette hiding.

"Haha-What? I just-er-Dropped my pen! Uh-Cat Noir, why are you out right now?" Marinette asked, changing the subject. But, Cat Noir's disposition suddenly darkened. Marinette leaned in and gestured for him to sit.

"Cat...?"

"I-I just needed to clear my mind... Get away from home for a bit..." He explained, dropping his gaze.

"Cat Noir, there's something wrong..." Marinette knew he was upset.

"It's nothing, just a bit stressed." Cat Noir chuckled.

"It must be hard... Being a superhero." Marinette murmured.

"It is... But thank god I have Ladybug." His eyes softened. Marinette could see it in Cat Noir's eyes... Love. If only Ladybug could return the feelings... She loves Cat Noir, but Adrien...

Suddenly Cat Noir's ring beeped.

"Cat Noir, your miraculous beeped. Wait-that means you used your power!" Marinette blinked.

"Oh! Er-Yeah! There was-eh-trash! I had to-uhm... Get rid of! Yep, okay, see you later, Marinette!" Cat Noir left quickly, leaving Marinette chuckling to herself.
