I ran. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. You wondering what I am running from? Well,..

My name is Y/n. I am 15 years old. My mother passed away when I was 10 and my dad decided he would remarry. My step mother was abusing and made me a made and slave for her. Unfortunately, my dad passed out before 2 weeks and I was left alone with her. I didn't have a choice. I ran. I ran away from my home, from my past. Away from the nightmare.

I was pretty far from my old house now. I arrived in a small neighborhood. There were barely any houses. I looked at one of them. Suddenly, it started raining. I ran to the first house I saw and stood under the shield of the porch. I sat down and hugged my knees closer to my chest. Unfortunately, I have fallen asleep.

Time Skip
Simon's POV
In the morning I woke up, peacefully. Since we got rid of the last nanny, dad has to hire a new one today. All of my siblings were still asleep, so I let them be. They deserved it. I changed, ate, etc, etc and decided I should go out and take some fresh air. It was pretty early, actually. I haven't noticed. I opened the front door and stepped outside. I looked around the peacefulness, until I spotted something on my right. I looked down to see a girl. She was asleep.

"What the bloody hell..."I said and kneeled down in front of her. She had h/c hair and looked around my age. I couldn't see her face, though. Her dress was a little torn up in places. What happened to her? I opened the front door and then bend down, taking the girl bridal style. I walked to the living room. I put her down on one of the couches and put a pillow under her head. She looked beautiful. I've gotta tell dad. I thought and got up. I walked to his office where he probably fell asleep last night. I knocked on the door, bur there was no response. I knocked again, harder this time and I heard him stir inside.

"Come in"he said. I opened the door and saw him rubbing his eyes. He removed his fists from his face and looked at me.

"Simon? What are you doing here?"dad asked.

"There is something, someone, I need to show you"I said. Dad nodded and got up. We walked to the living room and the girl was still asleep.

"Who's that?"dad asked, rising an eyebrow.

"I don't know. When I went out this morning, she was sitting on the porch, sleeping. And hen I bought her inside."I said. Dad nodded.

"Okay, what-"suddenly, I saw the girl's eyes open. She looked at me and dad.

"W-Who are you?"she asked, looking at me with her h/c eyes.

Y/n's POV
"W-Who are you?"I asked, fearfully. The boy walked closer to me.

"Don't worry, we aren't gonna hurt you"the blond boy said. His brown eyes looking in mine.

"Who are you?"the elder man, who I assume was the boy's father, asked.

"I-I am Y/n"I said, hugging my stomach. I felt uncomfortable.

"Well, Y/n, I am Simon and this is my father. Would you like to tell me why you were asleep on the porch?"the boy asked, sitting next to me. He seemed nice.

"Oh. I apologize, but yesterday started running and I had to take shelter somewhere. It seems I fell asleep. I am really sorry"I said, embarrassed.

"Would you like us to call your parents?"Simon's dad asked. I shook my head.

"I don't have any"I said, looking down.

"Then who are you staying with?"Simon asked, concern on his eyes.

"No one. I will try and find a new home"I said. Simon looked at his dad.

"Dad, she can stay with us! Right!"Simon asked, standing to his dad.

"Yeah, of course."his dad said, looking at me. My eyes went wide and I jumbled and went to hug the two of them.

"Thank you so very much"I said. After that I realized them and looked down.

"Well, Simon will show you to the other kids, while I go and find a new nanny. Make yourself at home"the man said. I nodded, thanking him once again. The man nodded and walked away.

"So, c'mon. Let's go and introduce you to the others!"Simon said, taking my hand in his and dragging me upstairs. How can he warm up to a strangers so fast? Not that I am complaining, though. We arrived in a big room with another 6 kids inside. Everyone looked at us.

"Everyone, meet Y/n!"Simon announced."Y/n, these are my siblings-Tora, Sebastian, Chrissy, Lilly, Eric and Aggy"Simon said, pouting at everyone while saying their names.

"Hi"I said, waving shyly. Everyone looked at Simon.

"Oh! She will be living with us!"he announced and everyone looked at each other.
