My alarm woke me up and soon I was ready to meet Kyle. Just as I was about to leave through the door my mum said, "Be back by 7. We are going to have dinner at 8 with Jane."

"Jane?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Your fiancé" she replied.

My parents had mentioned her only as my fiancé and never her name from the two days I've returned from the hospital.

I nodded towards her and drove away on my motorbike towards Kyle's house.

His mother opened the door and I could see the happiness gleaming in her eyes. From the time we were kids, she used to adore me just like a mother.

Kyle was sitting on the couch and playing video games, so I joined him. We played about 4 games of COD and then finally decided to take a break. A smile erupted on my face as now I had the chance to question him.

"Kyle, what are the things that I don't remember? Can you help me with them?"

He looked at me as if I'd grown two heads," No, not at all. I've already been scolded by Kiara for telling you about her."

My smile turned into a frown but suddenly my mood uplifted when I got the idea.

"Can we visit her?" I asked him. He shook his head as soon as he heard my words.

"No, not at all."

I tried pleading but to no avail. At last, I said, " I'll give you a treat man. Bill will be on me. Now, is it ok? "

He groaned but I knew that I had used his weakness at the right time. I smirked and we opened the door to leave.
