A year later:

I'd forgotten my memories of two years for sure but the last one year my friends and family tried their best to make up for it. I'm seriously blessed to have them. Today is a really important day for me and I'm seriously nervous even though Kyle besides me has said about a thousand times, "No need to be afraid, she already loves you." Still, my palms were sweaty and forehead creased while waiting for her on this beach with the guitar tightly clutched in my hand.

And just then she entered in her jeans and T-shirt covered with a jacket when I started strumming the guitar and singing.

Her eyes held happiness when she jumped in my arms as soon as the song ended and I'd kept the guitar aside. But it wasn't the end yet.

I stood on my knees with the words ready to leave my mouth, "Will you marry me?"

And her brightening smile and kiss easily answered me.
