Chapter Fourteen (Foxy) 

I run as fast as possible to Pirate Cove, and push the curtains open. I'm panting, and it takes a moment for my eyes to adjust. 

"Mangle?" I croak into the darkness. 

Nothing. I blink and step forward, walking to the place where Mangle usually is. She isn't here. I shake my head and try to think. Where would she go?

"Mangle!" I whisper again, hoping that she would slink in. 

But my fox counterpart doesn't answer. I take a deep breathe and try to gather my thoughts, mind racing. It felt like bees had flown into my head. 

I remember BB and decide to ask if he saw her. I run out and nearly crash into BB, who looks quite shocked to see me carreeing into the arcade. 

"BB! Have you seen Mangle?" I ask, as I stop in front of him, looking around, agitated. 

"Um.... I saw her yellow eyes in the darkness moving away from me." BB shrugs. "Donno where she went though." 

I stare at the boy and shake my head. "Its okay!" I then turn and run towards the backstage area, where I knew the gang would be.

I barge in, nearly knocking a startled Bonnie over. "Foxy?" Bonnie gasps in surprise as I balance myself.

"Where's Mangle?" I blurt, not taking time to explain. Butterflies buzzed around my stomach, and it felt as if my circuits had dropped into my feet. 

"What?" Bonnie stares at me, a confused look on his face.

"Is that Foxy?" Freddy's deep voice sounds from the dark. "What does he want?"

"Freddy, do you know where Mangle is?" I start nervously twitching and then Freddy comes from the shadows. 

Freddy's eye twitches. "Why?" 

"I - It doesn't matter! I need to know where she is!" I groan. "Just tell me!"

"We don't know." Freddy replies. "We haven't seen her."

I throw my hands up and hold my head. How am I meant to find her? An idea pops into my mind. Maybe Drusilla might know?

I walk away without saying goodbye. I know that this is a bad idea. But it needs to be done.
