One of my dad's friends is living with us due to financial issues.

We have dogs.

These dogs are territorial.

So if two of our male dogs are together...

They fight.

My dad's friend let his dog out. His dog is a small female.

However,

She was in the kennel with one of our biggest males. (She isn't old enough to have puppies)

His name is Atlas.

Atlas is my little brother's dog.

Tyr is our second biggest male. (Osiris is the biggest.)

Tyr is also on a chain since we have no kennel space.

But my dad's friend just left the kennel door open.

So Atlas got out.

He got in a fight with Tyr.

Tyr is bigger and stronger.

Atlas was missing for a while.

We found him behind the kennels in a huge pile of dog poop.

I stayed by his side.

And then he had a seizure.

And then he died.

All because of my dad's friend.

When he gets back from work,

I want to see his face when he finds out that it's his fault Atlas is dead.

And my little brother thanked me

For staying by his side.
