Such sad eyes staring back
Happiness, joy and life it lack
Once they open their mouth you realize they have no tack
Someone we all once knew called Jack

Survival is what their living off
Tried to speak but all that came out was a cough
Words was spoken but was so soft
Realize what had happen so they shut off

Wondering when life had taken a turn for the worst
Was living in a bubble when suddenly it burst
Like a Lion it pounce with a sudden thirst
And now their left there with a horrible curse

Days pass and darkness came, but sat there staring into the night
Sleepless everytime because their body put up a fight
Gave up on everything and now they have no light
