If you have seen the show you will know homura. Kept going back in time to save madoka from turning into a witch, and each time line, madoka keeps getting more stronger. So if she turn into a witch she will be the strongest witch of all times cuz of homura rerwains. But in one time madoka tells homura to go back in time to make sure this never happens. That was that last rewind homura did to save homura. And on the last rerain. Madoka made a wish to easrse witches from past present and future. And aka she a god.

Let skip to the movie they made call rebillion.

So later on in the moive homura figures out something and blah blah blah. She gets into a fight with mami. It the first big fight you will see (not counting the nightmare fights)

Right

After the fight homura does somethings with 100ft away. From her soul gem (pretty sure)

After that and blah blah blah homura figures out she the witch and their the fights. After the fight homura wakes up and madoka tries to take homura with her to the sky's. But homura say no and pulls homura out of that form.

The reason why she did that becaus all the timeline she been in, madoka turns into a witch. Some homura turns into a demon to prevent that ever happing again.
