///Time Skip-Five Years\\\

Levy P.O.V.

"Mommy mommy! There's a turtle in the pond!" Aurora cried. I couldn't help but smile at my daughter. As she had gotten older her hair darkened slightly and she refused to let me cut it. It stretched to her waist, though today she let me put it up in pigtails. She wore leggings and a dark green tunic style shirt that reached her knees.

I got up from my chair under the shade and walked to her, holding our newest baby Aaron. he would be three months old today. He had his dad's black hair and my brown eyes, though they were a red brown. I knelt by her at the koi pond in our garden," See right there!" she pointed to the small turtle swimming with the fish. "I want to catch him!" I chuckled "Leave him alone sweetie, he's probably trying to go home." she pouted but nodded.

We heard car doors open and looked to the front of the house. Gajeel rounded the corner, talking to Lily about something. I frowned at the look on his face. "Daddy!" Aurora cried as she ran to him. He immediately put on a smile for her but I could see the worry in his eyes. "There's my princess!" he said, scooping her up and spinning her. She squeeled and laughed, clinging to his hair as he set her on his shoulder. I walked to him and kissed him, earning an eww from Aurora.

He glanced in Lilys direction and I nodded slightly. He took Aurora inside, saying something about cookies. I went to Lily who handed me a blank envelope. I adjusted my hold on Aaron as I opened it.

'You've taken everything from me, now I take everything from you, Little Blue.' My hand gripping the paper shook and my arm tightened around Aaron. "She escaped the night we rescued you. Gajeels been having us search for her since." I nodded a little, my leg throbbing at the memories. It had never healed properly and I couldn't go on many jobs anymore. Some days I still needed my cane.

"I will be your personal guard whenever Gajeel goes out." Again I nodded."How did you get the letter?" "It was on the gate when we came back." My blood ran cold. I was here alone with the kids and she was right there. She could have killed us. Lily gently grabbed my shoulder. "Lets go inside." I nodded, walking inside with him. I looked into the kitchen, where Aurora sat on the counter eating a cookie and Gajeel cooked. My heart ached, the thought of something happening to him tore me apart. I had to be strong though.

I smiled as I walked up to my daughter and she held out her cookie. I took a bite making her laugh. While her tried to be calm, I could tell by the way Gajeel held himself he was tense. I gently touched his arm and he relaxed slightly. We ate dinner, Aurora going on about her friend Sari Dragneel. At bed time I laid in her bed with her with her favorite movie,Brave, on until she fell asleep. I carefully got out of the bed and tucked the blankets around her before heading to our room.

Gajeel was sitting on the window sill, staring into the garden with a cigarette in his hand. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around him. He grabbed my hand and held it tightly, I swear his hand was shaking. "We will be fine Gajeel." I whispered. He nodded a little before putting his cigarette out. We went to bed with our nerves on edge and it was a long time before I finally fell asleep.

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and smiled. I got up and went to the kitchen to find batter everywhere. Gajeel had a clump in his hair and Aurora was covered in flower. I couldn't help but laugh at the sight. I went to Aurora and started to brush of the flower when batter hit my cheek. Aurora laughed and Gajeel looked away, innocently whistling as he went back to cooking. "I will get you back," I grumbled making him laugh. I cleaned up the mess of a kitchen while Gajeel finished.

After we ate Gajeel left, going to meet with my father to set up a search party for Flare. We were out in the garden again today, me in the shade with Aaron, Lily standing near the gate and Aurora chasing small birds. Today was a bad day so I had my cane with me. Aurora had decorated it with sparkles and little stickers because she wanted it to look pretty.

Aaron started to fuss and I sighed. "Lily can you keep an eye on her? I gotta change him." Lily nodded and came over to where I was. "Aurora stay in the garden." "Ok mama!" I smiled and headed inside. As I changed him I heard the worst sound possible.

Auroras terrified screams and gunfire.

I left Aaron in his crib and ran as fast as my bad leg would let me. I threw open the door to more gunfire and I collapsed with a cry. Two bullets had gone through my bad leg and I cursed. I had to move! I glanced up from my place on the ground and my eyes widened. Flare stood in front of the gate, Aurora wiggling in her arms. "Mommy!" she screamed and it tore my heart. "Let her go!"I screamed. I tried to pull myself up with my cane but my leg wasn't working. Flare laughed at my pitiful state and disappeared, her lackeys following her. I quickly looked around and saw Lily, a pool of blood growing around him.

I quickly pulled my phone out and pressed a red button on the side. It was an S.O.S signal. It would go to Gajeel and Lilys phones. I quickly drug myself over to Lily and rolled him over. Three bullets had pierced him, one through the chest and two through his gut. He grunted, coughing up blood. "Levy... Im sorry... I" I shook my head. "You were outnumbered, there was nothing you could do. I know you didn't let then get her without a fight. Let me just stop the bleeding." With shaking hands I tore his shirt and balled it up, pressing it to his wounds. He hissed in pain and coughed. My mind was going a million miles a minute and it was all I could do not to scream, cry and curse. She took my baby. That red haired bitch took my baby.

Tires squeeled and doors slammed and soon Gajeel was running through the gate with my fathers men. "Levy, Lily!" He knelt beside us but I couldn't look at him. If I did I knew I would break apart. I kept the pressure on Lilys wounds and tried to ignore the pain in my leg. "Levy, what happened?!" I bit my lip, trying not to cry as Gajeel questioned me. I stayed quiet until an ambulance took Lily away and they had patched up my leg. I refused to go to the hospital.

Gajeel knelt in front of me and took my shaking hands. I couldn't hold it any longer and I threw my arms around Gajeel, sobbing. "She took her! She just took her!" I was nearly screaming as I cried. Gajeel clung to me and I could feel him shaking too. He pulled away and cupped my face in both of his hands. "I swear, I will bring her home safe and sound." He promised. I could see the tears in his eyes but he didn't let them fall. He was being the rock I couldn't be and trying to be strong. I sniffed and nodded, clutching at his arm. I had to pull myself together.
