The man, dressed in golden sherwani, sitting on the wedding mandap. Though everything seemed blurred, anger was clearly visible on his face.. His hands fisted, nails digging deep into his palm. Jaws clenched in furry..

The women, dressed in a beautiful red lehenga, jewelleries giving a royal look, sitting beside the man.. Her moist eyes conveying a lot of emotions.. Her face devoid of any expression.. Not even a slight smile!

Man: Yeh shaadi mere liye sirf ek majboori hai.. Yeh shaadi tumhari zindagi ka sabse bura decision hoga..

Woman: Jo khud pyaar me sahi galat ka faisla na karpaaye.. Usse achhe bure decisions ke baare me bolne se pehle sochna chahiye..

Man: (holding the woman by her shoulders tightly) JISKE LIYE KISIKE LIFE SE ZYAADA APNA JEALOUSY MATTER KARTA HO.. WO MUJHE KUCHH NAA HI BOLE TO ACHHA HOGA.. YOU BETTER MIND IT..

Woman: Kaash..kaash tumhein mujhpe thoda sa bhi bharosa hota.. But you proved me.. Me tumhare liye kuchh bhi nahi..

Man: EXACTLY..tum mere liye kuchh bhi nahi..

A lone tear escaped from the woman's eyes. The man left her and went out of the room, slamming the door hard..

Karan woke up suddenly after the dream he saw.. The marriage, the hatred, the bride and groom.. Though the faces weren't clear.. But he felt as if he himself has witnessed the scene before.. He felt as if he was present during the time of the scene..

K: Yeh kaisa sapna tha.. Yeh dulha dulhan.. Aisa kyun laga jaise me dono ko jaanta hoon..

He thought for sometime but then shrugged of his thoughts. ..

K: Ooff. Karan shergil... Bachelor life me shaadi ke sapne.. Too dangerous..

He glanced at the clock. It was 5:30am.

K: Umm.. Abhi neend to aayegi nahi.. Bahar jaake hi ghoom leta hoon..

He got up from his bed and freshened up.. He went outside to enjoy the cool and calming wind.. Summer mornings are a bliss to watch! The sun rising in the beautiful sky, the darkness being conquered by the light once again, giving new hopes to millions... Symbolising that every problems would one day be solved.. The hardtime would be gone soon!

Karan smiled seeing the beauty of nature. He took deep breath inhaling the fragnance of the nature!

K: Mornings are bliss! Sahi me.. Nature are best healer.. Healer se yaad aaya.. Meri healer to soo rahi hai.. Oofff.. Monami.. Kab sikhegi yeh jaldi uthna.. Waise.. Me hi jaake utha doon to? Good idea!!!

Karan gave an evil smirk and went to wake Monami.. He went to her room and as always, she didn't lock the door!

K: Duniya idhar ki udhar hojaaye. Par yeh ladki kabhi darwaaza band nahi karegi..

He went near her bed and shook her..

K: Monami... Monami... Utho...

Mo: (in sleepy tone) aa.. Kya hai.. Sone do na..

K: Monami yaar utho na..

Mo: Karan please sone do..

K: Rani sahiba

Mo: Khadoos shergil!

K: (in mind) Uff.. Yeh ladki nahi sudhregi..

He took the water jug from the side table and splashed water on her face..

Mo: Aaaaa.. Khadoos shergil kyun subhe subhe meri neend ka dushman bane bethe ho.. Shaanti se sone bhi nahi dete.. Aaa..

K: ooffoo.. Kitna soti ho.. Uthjaao.. Subhe jaldi uthna chahiye.. Bilkul meri tarah..

He said by raising his invisible collers. He received a flying pillow attack from Monami.

K: Aa.. Maaro mat yaar!

Mo: Chup.. Ek to pehle se hi neend kharab kardi.. Aur ab.. Aaa.. Jaao yaar karan.. Me fresh hoke aati..

K: Ok madam!

Monami too got freshened up quickly and went outside to the garden.. Karan was waiting for her with two mugs of coffee and some cookies..

Mo: Aaj baat kya hai Agent Shergil? subhe subhe uthke.. Mujhe bhi utha diya.. Aur ab breakfast wo bhi garden me?

K: hmmm.. Monami... Mene aaj ek sapna dekha..

Mo: (while sipping her coffee) Achha.. Batao phir.. Hum bhi sune aapka sapna..

K: Mene sapne me shaadi dekhi..

Monami looked at him.. She asked her to describe whatever he saw.. Karan told her every bit of the dream along with the fact that he couldn't see the faces clearly...

Hearing to everything, monami went into deep thoughts.. She felt nostalgic.. The memories of her wedding day flashed in her mind..

K: Oohh Rani sahiba Kahan khoo gayi..

Mo: ha.. Han.. Nahi.. Wo.. Kahin nahi.. Bas aise hi kuchh sochrahi thi..

Suddenly her phone rang.. It was a call from Shivam

Mo: Oh no no no no..
K: Kya hogaya
Mo: mere dimaag se kaise nikal sakta yeh

K: Monami. Hua kya..

Mo: Wo. Karan aaj mujhe hospital jaldi jaana tha.. Kuchh kaam aagaya hai hospital me.. Mujhe and Shivam ko bulaya hai.. Mere dimaag se hi nikal gaya..

K: (in mind: Phirse shivam) Han to kya hua.. Abhi niklo.. Kab pahunchna hai?

Mo: 7:30 ko reporting..

K: Hmm.. To jaao tum ready hojaao.. Me tumhein drop kardunga..

Mo: Nahi uski zaroorat nahi karan.. Tum aaram se yahan betho.. Shivam aata hi hoga mujhe pick karne.. Me uske saath chali jaaungi.. Ok.. Bye bye bye bye.. Me chalti hoon..

K: Arre par... (monami left) argh.. Yeh ho kya gaya hai issee. Jab dekho shivam Shivam shivam.. Yahan karan betha hai uski kadar hi nahi.. Huh... Kahan me aur kahan wo shivam.. Phir bhi isko shivam se hi kaam hota..

Karan's inner voice: Ek min karan.. Yeh kya soch raha hai tu.. And why do you care about them?

K: haan yeh to hai.. Par ofc i would care.. Meri bestfriend hai.. Merese zyaada kisi aur ke saath comfortable hogi to.. Me to react karunga na..

Inner voice: Bestfriend hai.. Girlfriend thodi.. Itna jealous kis baat ka..

K: Nahi hai to BAN JAAYEGI!

Karan realised what he spoke..

K: YEH KYA BOLRAHA HOON ME.. MUJHE HO KYA GAYA HAI.. aaaa.. Karan.. You need to do meditation.. Tera dimaag nahi me kharab hochuka hai..

He completed rest of his coffee and went inside..

Afternoon time, in the hospital

Monami and Shivam completed half of their work. Monami had to go for checking a patient in the wards and Shivam was accompanying her..

S: Monami.. Lunch time hogaya hai.. Khaana khaalo phir chali jaana..

Mo: No shivam.. Bilkul nahi.. Wahan mera patient agar pain me hoga to.. Me lunch kaise khaa sakti..

S: Tum na sahi me unique ho..i must say.. karan is lucky

Mo: (smiling) Chalo ab.. Bas check karke aajaate.. And then lunch karlenge..

Both went to the ward and checked the patient.. After that, they left to monami's cabin..

Mo: Arre yaar!
S: Kya hua?

Mo: Tch.. Arre wo.. Jaldi jaldi me lunch box laana hi bhul gayi me..

S: Arre to koi baat nahi.. Hospital ke cafeteria me khaa lenge na..

Someone: Koi zaroorat nahi!

Both looked at the door and found Karan.. Monami smiled looking at him.

Mo: Karan! Tum yahan?

K: Haan wo bhabhi ne tumdono ke liye lunch bheja hai.. Ab monu ko to yahan ka khaana pasand to aata nahi... So mujhe hi rani sahiba ke liye khaana laana pada..

Mo: Haww. Bol to aise rahe ho.. Jaise bohut meherbani kardi.. Apni best friend ki sewa karna farz hai tumhara samjhe?

K: ji.. Jo hukum Rani sahiba.. Ab khaana khaalein?

Mo: tumne bhi nahi khaaya?

K: Wo. Me tum dono ke liye laa hiraha tha to socha ki tumhare saath hi khaa loon..

Mo: Achha kiya!! Chalo khaana khaate hain.. Sahi me bohut tez bhook lagi hai..

The trio sat and had their lunch. In between Shivam was deliberately feeding Monami to make Karan jealous.. Karan too went with the flow and fed Monami.. Monami didn't understand the coldwar between Karan and Shivam and was happily feeding both with her own hands..

K: (in mind) Iss shivam ki problem kya hai.. Kyun kabab me haddi ban raha.. Aaa.. Why am i being affected.. Ho kya raha hai mujhe..

Mo: Karan.. Karan.. Kya hua?

K: Huh.. Han? Sorry.. Wo.. I am zoned out actually..

S: Kya baat hai karan.. Aj kal kuchh zyaada hi zoned out hai.. Ahem ahem.. Kiske khyaalon me busy ho?

Monami glared at Shivam.. Shivam winked at her.

K: (smirking) arre nahi shivam.. Wo kya hai na.. Me bas sochraha tha ki kaash jo log mujhe irritate karte hain.. Mere kaam me dakhal dete hain.. Kaash me unhein apni gun se uda pata..

Shivam gulped down his saliva in fear.. He knew exactly what Karan meant.. But Monami was again confused..

Mo: Mujhe to tumdono ki yeh baatein samajh aane se rhai. Me kya bolti hoon.. We have some time.. Why don't we go to the nearby cafe? Mtlb.. Thoda sa khuli hawa me time spend hoga..

S: Good idea monu

K: (under his breath) Monami bhi to bolsaktaaaa😑😑

The three went to the nearby cafe.. Karan held Monami's hand through out the hospital.. Monami looked at their intertwined hand and blushed.. They walked together towards the cafe..
