And thus the years of a life rolls by.

 Destined to die at the end of time. 

With only a melody and memories to carry one on. 

Onward to places that rejoice with song. 

And thus we carry our burdens until at long last they are dropped. 

And at long last we see those who are held dear. 

Forevermore I shall remain here. 

 Till that final breath that signals the end.
