Dipper was panicking. This couldn't be happening, he thought as he nervously scanned his surroundings, wondering if any of the people around him had noticed the scene that had just occurred, or the fact that his sister had just disappeared out of thin air.

"You!" Blendin Blandin exclaimed, gripping Dipper by the neck of his shirt. "What do you think you're doing, stealing my time machine?!"

Dipper struggled to pull away from his grip, which was surprisingly strong. He gasped for air. He uttered a reply in between struggled breaths. "look, I'm really sorry, but that doesn't matter right now. I need your help."

Blendin released his grip and stepped back.

"What're you talking about?"

"It's my sister," Dipper said. "We got into a fight and. . . she's gone, along with the time machine."

Blendin's jaw dropped open. "No no no no- this is bad, this is really bad. DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!"

Dipper took a long, cautious step back as Blending shakily marched forward, growing angrier and angrier by the second.

"Your sister is in danger, and so is the multiverse- we need to contact the time police before it's too late." He looked down at his watch and quickly pressed a few buttons.

"What do you mean by 'we'?" Dipper asked.

Blendin glare down at him. "You're the one who stole my time machine in the first place. Besides, if you don't help me, you could be sentenced to time jail."

Dipper gulped. "So when do you think the time cops- er, police or whatever are gonna get here?"

"Any second now," Blendin replied.

On cue, a swirling green portal opened a few feet away from them. Two muscular men in bulky clothing approached them. The one who wore an eyepatch spoke to Blendin. "We heard your report."

The other pulled out a hologram-like tablet and scanned the text that had appeared on it. "According to our calculations, the girl has traveled to the year 1962."

Dipper timidly stepped forward and cleared his throat. "M-my sister. . .is she going to be okay?"

The men stared down at him before exchanging a weary glance. The man with the eyepatch bent down so that he was eye to eye with Dipper.

"We're not sure, but there's a chance that the time device was broken once your sister arrived in 1962." He sighed and swallowed hard. "As of now, your sister is lost in time."

A/N: This book is gonna be another kind of a short story with I'm gonna guess about 10 chapters at the most. (My main stories tend to be 30+ chapters.) It's an attempt to keep you guys occupied while I'm busy with the rest of my summer plans. :)

(Also, I LOVE THIS AU SO MUCH)
