Becca's POV

I sat in one of the chairs that my...friends had been...cuffed to. That's what they said.

Why did I have memory loss?

Could it have to do with Becky and Rebecca healing me?

I've forgotten to mention something. In a near death experience, when the ego sacrifices his or herself, they alone could not completely heal the body. They needed fresh and valuable memories to complete the task. I'm not so sure of a death experience and the using of 2, though....

So what happened recently and...memories of my friends, this...gang, my...boyfriend, are gone probably because of that.

The guy, Gerrin, he said, was sitting next to me, eyeing me.

I knew when someone was lying or manipulating me, but...he felt genuine.

He seemed like someone I would date. He didn't look snobby or bully-like. He was just the right amount of handsome and nerdy looking. In the time I've forgotten, he hasn't pushed himself on me. I knew for a fact that most supposed boyfriends push themselves upon the girl. It sucked.

I really did want to get to know him...again, I guess.

I just felt really bad for forgetting.

I guess there's always a price to oppose death.

Rachel was sitting in my lap, hugging me for dear life. She only had one eye. Stabbed out by that person who...killed me.

The black girl, Jane, was staring off into the distance.

I sighed. "I-I'm sor-rry that I'v-ve forgot-tten...."

Gerrin shook his head. "No, Becca, it's not your fault. I'd very much rather you have forgotten me than to have you dead. It's not like I've changed completely in that time. I'm positive that, even if your memory doesn't return, we can be together again."

I smiled. "We are toget-gether again, Ge-errin."

He smiled warmly.

Suddenly, that cloaked person sighed.

"They have completed what they needed, Lucille. I'm taking them back now."

Lucille, who was the floating person, apparently, nodded. Very well.

Mitch turned to me. "Goodbye, Becca. Hope you get home safely."

I nodded to him. "Goo-odb-bye. Be safe." Seems my voice was getting better.

The little black and white Kirby waved to me from the cloaked person's arms. "Bye-bye!"

The cloaked person mumbled something under their breath, and they and 5 people who really looked like they didn't belong in a zombie apocalypse disappeared in a small puff of smoke.

Suddenly, there were some footstep sounds from the stage area.

I looked up to see...Red and Kam. I seemed to have remembered them, at least.

Red almost tripped over the edge of the stage when he saw me.

"B-BECCA?! How are you...?" He trailed off.

I sighed. "Not rea-really sure...."

He seemed even more shocked when I could speak. He looked like he was about to say something, but he just sighed. "I'm not even gonna question you anymore, Becca. You've dumbfounded me more than once."

I chuckled lightly. "Seems I hav-ve...."

Red looked at Kam. "Well, we found Keona's portal place. AKA your phone. The portal is still up, though."

I nodded. "Let's get home."

Gerrin smirked. "At least your voice is getting better."

I sighed and stood up, causing Rachel, who I'd forgotten was on my lap, to almost fall to the floor.

"EEP!" She yelped.

I laughed and stabled her before holding her hand.

I held mine out to Gerrin. He accepted it and stood up, looking to Jane, who was still spaced out.

"Jane~" He said.

She jumped and shook her head, standing up. "S-Sorry. Kinda zoned out."

I laughed and walked towards Red. "We noti-ticed."

The gang followed us as we followed Red to...Keona's lab, I think. It was really freaking huge.

When we entered, I froze.

The portal...was coming from my phone.

Gerrin paused, as well.

"Should we...go through now?"

I shook my head. "Since Keona w-was a scientist, she must've recorded exper-experiments with it. Let's look for s-some records."

They all nodded and we spread out, looking for books.

I heard Jane mumble as she looked over some books. "Formula A, Experiment numbers 1 - 15.... Definitely not this one."

"I think I found it!" Red called as he held out a book. "Portal experiment numbers 1 - 10."

I took the book from him and opened it to the first page.

Experiment #1 - Portal

So, I've finally got Becca and her friends. This portal won't close, though. I believe we should experiment on it.

~~~~~~~~
We threw an apple at it. Primitive, in my opinion, but necessary. It...didn't even go through. It bounced off like it hit a wall. Very strange.
~~~~~~~~

Scientist Dave tried touching the portal. Let's just say, he won't be doing experiments anytime soon. It practically electrified him. Scientist Natasha then touched it, but it was like her hand hit a wall. It just wouldn't react anymore.

I frowned. "Pages are t-torn out. I can't seem to f-find experiments 2 - 9. Guess we're seeing about experiment 10."

Experiment #10 - Portal

We're about to test Formula A on a subject zombie, but I wanted to experiment with this portal one last time.

~~~~~~~~
Hmm. Same results. I attempted to interact with it this time. Yet another failure. Maybe with the phone....
"...And...that's where it ends." I said, closing the book and handing it back to Red.
"Is it even safe?" Gerrin questioned.
Red walked up to the portal and poked it. "Like the book said. It's like hitting a wall."
I frowned and went up to the portal. "Becca, I don't----" Gerrin began.
I poked it.
Pain.
Instant pain.
Severe instant pain.
I screamed and fell back, gripping my hand. The pain then spread through my whole body. I curled up in a fetal position.
I started whimpering instead of screaming. It hurt. It hurt so much.
"Makeitstopmakeitstopmakeitstop...." I whispered faintly.
"Becca!" Gerrin yelled.
He knelt down next to me and held me. I buried my head into his chest. I just kept repeating that same phrase.
Red's POV
What the heck...?
After Becca touched the portal and started screaming in pain, I saw...at least 50 shimmers of light throughout the lab.
It started at the feet and started forming up. It looked like...people.
After about 15 seconds, about 50 people were in the room.
"What...?" I was shocked.
The people looked shocked as well.
2 of them looked at each other and down at Becca.
The girl gasped. "B-BECCA!?" She yelped.
The boy that was by her ran with her as they knelt by Becca.
Becca, who was shaking, slowly looked up at them. "W-Who a-a-are you?" She asked, her voice layered with pain.
She slowly stopped shaking, though, and slowly let go of Gerrin.
The girl looked down at herself then chuckled. "I suppose you wouldn't recognize us like this. I'm Adaline, and this is Terry."
Becca frowned. "Why do you look like that?"
Adaline cocked her head. "do you not know what happened? This...Minecraft thingy was literally taking over our world. It started a little after you went in."
Becca looked at me. "That must've been when Dave touched the portal! It wouldn't react to other Minecraftians, but a normal human from our dimension had never touched it 'til me!"
"You must've stopped this Minecraft thing from spreading further! But...what about these people?" I asked.
Adaline looked around while the brown head, Terry, I think, spoke. "These would be the people that got hit by the Minecraft stuff. They...died, sorta. They turn into a bunch of 0's and 1's and dissipated since coding doesn't exist in real life."
I was confused. "Umm...wouldn't there be a lot more people than this?"
Becca looked at all the people and sighed. "Yes. I can assure you that...my people, I guess, are not very smart with disasters and tend to panic. That would cause a lot more destruction. I don't know any of these other people, and the fact that more didn't show up...means some died for real."
She raked her hands through her hair. "Now I'm just more worried for my family."
She looked at all the people again. "Will they...ever be normal again?"
"Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows." I said.
Becca stood back up and touched the portal again. Her hand went through and she didn't freak out. "I think...we can go now."
Adaline went up to the portal and touched it. It was like it hit a wall. "We're stuck here, aren't we...?"
Becca hugged her. "Don't worry, Adaline. With the threats of this world gone, and the evil turned good, you can rebuild this world. Heck, maybe we'll be able to come through and help end the virus! ...If...the government doesn't take the portal or something. Eh, it might be easy seeing as how our dimension went chaotic. I know about the portal better than anyone else, seeing as I went through it...3 times before this and have experienced both dimensions. Maybe the government won't, like, be Area 51 like on us."
Becca grabbed Rachel's and Gerrin's hand. Rachel grabbed Jane's.
Becca looked at us. "Stay safe."
I nodded and Becca smiled before walking through the portal.
Kam placed his hand on my shoulder. "All's well that ends well."
I chuckled slightly. "Hopefully...."
