Her eyes had the brightest shimmer,

The setting sun, casting a glimmer.

But the sun set and the darkness rose,

In utter fear she just froze.

And the little girl's life eventually grew dimmer.

So there is t his dope poetry contest  by the WP_Poetry account, and this month's challenge was to write a limerick. So this is my official entry. The other entries are pretty awesome too, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.... Let's see...
