Her tears pooled around her feet,

She just wanted some food to eat.

Her hungry stomach hurt more by the minute,

So much resources in this world yet, for that little girl they are all just finite.

World hunger is a serious concern and I'm actually pretty appalled that it continues to be an issue. Despite all the technological advancements that seem to be developing, the status quo of this troubling age-old problem still remains the same! I wish we could do something about it, other than just observing it from afar, and writing about it...
