All was quiet and peaceful at the London airport. Then the Russell family arrived.

"Move out of the way people!" Pops shouted as Duke pushed him through the airport. Paws and tails were run over as his wheelchair came through. The Newfoundland mix that was pushing him shouted, "Make a path!" The rest of the family followed close behind, running as fast as they could.

"There! That's our plane!" Daisy shouted, pointing to the left. She had little Norman in her arms. Snowball and Leonard were right behind her, carrying all of their luggage. The twins Mel and Buddy were leading the Russell family pack, sprinting at top speed. Running as fast as he can, Max glanced down at his watch and shouted, "We're not gonna make it!"

"We're gonna make it!" Gidget reassured her husband. She could see the gate now. It was closing up. Determination coursing through her veins granted the Pomeranian the speed she needed. Speeding past the rest of her family, she made it to the gate just in time. The flight attendant there asked, "Can I help you ma'am?"

"Listen here dummy! My grandson got left home alone! Let us through!" Pops barked angrily at the cat. The rest of the family arrived at the gate just as the elderly basset hound continued, "We need to get on that plane now!" A bored expression on his face, the flight attendant muttered, "Plane tickets?"

Everyone held up a plane ticket to Chicago.

"Good enough. Have a nice flight," the flight attendant declared unenthusiastically, never once blinking his eyes. The entire Russell family cheered in celebration. They were going home. Giving the tabby cat their plane tickets, they hurried onto the plane. Sitting down next to her husband Max, Gidget sighed in relief.

"It's gonna be okay Tiny," she whispered, "We're coming. Just hang in there a little bit longer."
