"Hu! Wait!" Tiny cried, running after his dog. The terrified creature didn't pay his master any heed as he ran past Sweetpea and the police officer. Following seconds later, Tiny quickly excused himself before racing after Hu into the kitchen. Watching, the cop turned to the parakeet and muttered, "A lot of crazy people up in this joint, huh?"

"Uh... I guess so officer," Sweetpea responded.

"Everyone look out! Frightened dog coming through!" Tiny shouted out his warning. Hu had beat him into the kitchen. And he wasn't stopping there. Without losing any momentum, the canine jumped up onto the counter where all of the pizza boxes were. Then he took a flying leap over Duke's head and crashed down on his plate with enough force to send him sliding across the table and spilling a two liter bottle of Pepsi onto Pops' lap. Going around the various obstacles, Tiny met up with Hu at the finish line. But the damage had already been done.

Dinner was a disaster.

"Are you kidding me?!" Pops shouted angrily. His pants and blanket were soaked in Pepsi. It was even getting down into his leather black shoes. "Paper towels!" Daisy cried, tossing a roll across the table to her husband Snowball. Catching them with ease, the rabbit started wiping down the table. Gidget took the blanket that had covered Pops' lap and took it down to the basement where the washer was. Having had paid Sweetpea at last, Max walked into the kitchen to find it in chaos. With the rest of the children standing behind him, the Jack Russell terrier exclaimed, "What the heck happened out here?!"

"What do you think happened?! Your kid and his dumb dog spilled soda all over my good dress pants!" Pops barked. Still wiping up the mess, Snowball rolled his eyes and muttered, "Maybe you shouldn't wear dress pants to a pizza dinner." Kneeling on the floor beside Hu, Tiny gulped as all eyes turned towards him. It scared him. Wrapping his arms around his dog's neck, he whimpered, "Please don't be angry... Hu got scared..."

"Tiny," Gidget spoke softly from where she was standing in the hallway, "Come here sweetie. Let's get you upstairs."
