It wasn't even a minute later when Tiny found himself hanging from his hood on a hook on a door. Ozone and Tiberius stood in front of him, glaring at him. There was so much anger in their eyes. Now that he was able to get a good look at them, Tiny could see the damage his traps had caused to them. Ozone's head and right paw was burned, he had white feathers stuck to him and he had a tooth hanging out of his mouth. Tiberius had a bad cut over his left eye, was covered in soot and his taloned feet were badly cut up. The red tailed hawk growled in a low voice, "What should we do to him?"

"You know, I think we should give him the same treatment he gave us tonight," Ozone declared. Flicking his tail side to side, the Sphynx cat continued, "We'll set his little head on fire with a blowtorch." Tiny gasped in terror. Meanwhile, Tiberius chuckled and added, "And shoot him out of a freakin chimney!"

"Maybe I'll smash his face with a paint can or two."

"Shove a rusty nail through his foot!"

"Why not have his man eating dog chew him up!" Ozone concluded sinisterly. Running his tongue over his broken teeth, he murmured quietly, "The first thing I'm gonna do though is bite off every single one of his fingers." He grabbed Tiny's hand. At the same time, Tiny heard footsteps. The pup looked up to see Chloe silently entering the house with her snow shovel in hand. Sneaking up behind Tiberius, the gray tabby cat suddenly whacked him on the back of his head. The red tailed hawk collapsed on the floor, knocked out cold.

"What the..." Ozone muttered, seeing what happened to his companion. Releasing his hold on Tiny's hand, he turned around just as Chloe whacked him right in the face with her shovel. That brought the cat down to his knees. Before he could say or do anything, Chloe whacked him again. The Sphynx cat crumbled to the ground in a heap.

"Chloe! You're here!" Tiny yipped, still hanging on the hook. Dusting her paws off, Chloe stepped over the two thieves. Getting the young pup off the hook, she murmured, "Come on Tiny, let's get you back home." With that, the tabby carried the basset hound puppy out of the house and away from harm. They were out on the front lawn just as the police finally arrived.

The battle was over.
