*the next day* *at 7:15am*

*it is morning and Keke just finished making breakfast for her turtle then opens her window then goes to her 2.5 gallon tan*

Keanna: *turns on the light* hi River, how are you? *sees River swimming in circles in happiness* i can see that you're ready for breakfast *feeds River fish pellets*

*as Keke fed her fish she went to her mini fridge to get the milk for her cereal just as she sat down to eat she heard someone come through her window*

Leo: happy anniversary princess  *gives her flowers and kisses her cheek*

Keanna: *kisses his cheek* happy anniversary my prince your breakfast is in the kitchen

*when Keke said this Leo went to the kitchen to see a tray with a dome over it and once he took the dome off he sees blueberry waffles, eggs, bacon, and a bowl of mixed berries*

Leo: *takes a picture* honey you shouldn't have

Keanna: *walks out of her room and into the kitchen to wash her bowl and spoon* well you made me breakfast 3 times 2 of them were breakfast in bed

Leo: oh yea  so it does make sense you'll return the favor 

*5 minutes later*

*after a few minutes he helped with the dishes and went to her room then sits on her bed*

Leo: honey that was delicious

Keanna: *blushes* thanks, so what do you want to do on our anniversary?

Leo: i don't know maybe dinner at Murakami's 

Keanna: aww are you trying to recreate our first date?

Leo: *chuckles* well not exactly we just haven't been there in a while

Keanna: watch your feet i have to get your gift *opens her snack drawer and gives him a cute book*

Leo: aww thank you, but why is it in your snack drawer?

Keanna: because i was working on this gift mostly all night which is why i went home last night

*when she say this Leo looked at the book and it titles "reasons who i love you" when Leo is reading it he smiled on not only how cute the book is but how much his girlfriend loved him so much. as he finished reading it he said he loved his gift and then pulls her onto his lap giving her a kiss on the lips while she kisses him back, as they kissed Leo's phone started to ring*

Leo: *answers the phone* uh hey sis what's going down?

Karai: come to the lair i have some news to shared, and bring brownie along too

Leo; okay we're on our way *hangs up*

Keanna: *gets of his lap* it's a good thing i fed River now let's go and see what's going on

Leo: good idea but that's one thing you forgot to do sweetheart

Keanna: and what's that sweetie?

Leo: you're still in your pj's 

Keanna: *looks in the mirror* aw shoot *snaps her fingers to change in her main outfit*

Leo: *laughs* 🤣🤣

Keanna: 😑 your shell is mine tonight Leonardo

Leo: whatever you say honey let's go

*in the lair*

*just as they got to the lair they see everyone around Karai and Shini just they walked to them they can see what's going on, Karai is holding a 9 month old baby with peach skin, light brown eyes and light brown hair*

April: aww he's so cute

Keanna: where did you get him?

Karai: I'm glad you ask Keke cuz I'm about to tell y'all

*flashback from last night*

*it's been a few hours and Alopex joined the mighty Mutanimals and the everyone going back home the couple Karai and Shini went to patrol they city and after almost 2 hours of patrolling they heard crying coming from an alley, they follow the sound to find a box with a baby boy in it Karai stopped the baby from crying as Shini read a paper with the baby's birth date of 6-20-23*

Karai: who would do something like this? i would not allow this child out here

Shini: honey are you sure you want to take him in?

Karai: yes, and given how the shredder rise me without any kind of love i will not let this happen so I'm ready for it

*just as Karai said this they took the baby to the hospital to check on the baby and the baby is healthy but with a few injuries and is really hungry then Shini went to a store to get some baby supplies*

Shini: I'm back and have you thought of a name for the baby

Karai: nope but I'm afraid what the others may think of a baby around mutants but when tomorrow comes they'll understand

Shini: i agree but we better get some shuteye 

*the next day*

*the next morning came and Karai woke up to see the baby calm and awake*

Karai: *picks him up* hey little one did you have a goodnight sleep *sees the baby cooing and smiling* i think that's a yes

*just then Karai cleaned up the baby then fed and clothed him and then the mighty Mutanimals came downstairs for breakfast then is surprised to see Karai with a baby*

Karai: what's up guys

Slash: um Karai, what's with the baby?

Karai: i found him outside in the alley 

Mondo Gecko (Jason): does Shini know about it?

Karai: yes and we agreed to adopt him as our son, before you ask no the turtles doesn't know and no the baby doesn't have a name

*just as she said this the Mutanimals went to see him and the baby is calm seeing they as they all took turns holding him and thought he's adorable. and after breakfast Shini and Karai agreed to go the turtle lair*

*end of flashback*

*just as Karai is done with the story everyone is surprised and the turtles, April, Casey, and Renet took turns holding him until Karai turned to look at Keke*

Karai: Keke would you like to hold him?

Keanna: yes please and my hand are washed

*as Keke said yes she held the baby and the baby smiled at Keke*

Mikey: i think i have a name for him

Keanna: ugh not again

Shini: oh really what is it?

Mikey: Sora

Karai: are you serious?

Mikey: what?

Keanna: it sounds like a girls name

Karai: i totally agree

Keanna: I'm weird with names but how about ....Shingo

*just as Keke said this the baby started laughing and clapping at the name and everyone is surprised*

Shini: *giggles* he like it

Karai: then Shingo it is then, *turns to her brothers* are y'all excited to be uncles?

Leo: *pats his head* we adore our little nephew

Karai: are you and pinkberry doing anything special for your anniversary?

Leo: we have a dinner date later tonight at 8pm *gently grabs her face then kisses her lips*

*just as the couple kiss Shingo started slapping Keke's chin*

Shingo: yuck

*just then everyone is taken aback of what happened then started cheering for him on his first word*

Casey: I'm surprised i was filming this whole time

Shini: it's a good thing you have

Raph: really? you 2 just have to kiss didn't you?

Leo: what it was unexpecting on our part 

*just then everyone started to hangout and play with Shingo, but then a few hours later Karai and Shini has to take Shingo home for a nap and then he got a kiss on the cheek and/or forehead from his aunts and uncles before they left*

*another few hours later* *at 7:50pm*

*as time went on Keke is getting ready for her anniversary date with her doing her bathroom duties having the same outfit that she worn on her first date with Leo but this time the top is pink as she sprayed some perfume on herself she heard a special someone came from the window*

Keanna: *looks in the mirror at him* you look handsome as always

Leo: and you look beautiful as always i can see you wearing that outfit from our first date, are you recreating memories?

Keanna: *smirks* not exactly

Leo: *😱* *thinks to himself* what the heck, oh boy her *beep* is mine after this date

Keanna: *hooks her arm on his elbow* let's go we doing wanna be late

Leo: *chuckled*

*at Murakami's*

Keanna: hey Murakami San

Murakami: ah Keanna San 

Keanna: I'm good

Murakami: is Leonardo San with you?

Leo: yes i am, it's our anniversary

Murakami: aww that's nice it hear and it just so happens i have the special ready for you 2, of course the pizza gyoza

Keanna: that's great 

(here's my personal headcanon since the turtles and Karai loved the pizza gyozas so much and whenever the couples got out on a date to Murakami's he always make the couples' special that being the pizza gyozas and Murakami always made extras for them to take home. great, now I'm craving some after writing this)

*half an hour went by and the couple is having a blast until they had to go home and thank Murakami for the takeout box*

*back at Keke's apartment*

*just as they got in Leo sat on the beanbag chair and Keke walked to her fish tank to see River come out of his hiding spot*

Keanna: hey River you missed me? *feeds him then sits on her bed to take off her shoes then looks up to see Leo holding hits hand out*
