Leo launched himself off the table, straight towards his brothers and Sky. The brothers dodged, but Sky was frozen to the spot in shock. Leo jumped on her, his fangs bared. The force of the jump made them fall onto the ground, Leo on top of Sky. His cold crystal blue eyes met her terrified forest green ones. Leo froze and shook his head, violently.
You're hurting Sky! Stop it! Look at her! He screamed at himself.
Leo backed away and forced himself to turn back to normal. He slid his fangs back and felt his eye color change back to royal blue.
"I'm so sorry Sky...." he said as he helped her up, "That's not me, it's like I have an evil double!"
Sky dusted herself off, "N-no its fi-ine."
Donnie thought for a second, "What are we gonna give you to eat?"
"I fancy something, well..... I'll get something to eat." Leo said as he picked up his katanas off Donnie's desk and back into their sheathes. The rest of them looked at him in horror.
"We can't trust you with that job, Leo." Raph said frowning, "What happens when you start attacking people?"
Leo shook his head, "I won't, I promise. I'll eat a mouse or something." The weird thing was that Leo said it casually, as if it were no big deal. Mikey gagged at the feeling of eating a mouse. Raph still fixed Leo with an uncertain look, but Leo ignored it. The eldest brother left the lair.
Donnie rubbed his temples, "This is way worse than we expected."
"What the murder, or the fact that our brother is a vampire?" Mikey asked.
"Everything...." Donnie sighed leaning back in his lab chair.
Sky shifted on her feet, "Can we do some more research on the secret society?"
"How about a break!" Raph growled as he got himself out of the lab and onto the couch.
Donnie nodded, "You guys go and have a break, I'll do some more research."
Sky was about to protest when Mikey ushered her to the living room.
"Donnie likes doing sciency things. That's what he does to relax. Weird, huh?" Mikey said.
"Yeah." Sky said. Her mind whirled around Leo. If it wasn't for her sister getting murdered, he wouldn't have turned into a vampire! This was all Livi's fault! Mikey noticed Sky tense up.
"Something wrong?" Mikey queried.
Sky let her shoulders sag, "No."
"Good, let's play some video games!" Mikey squealed like a child. Sky smiled and nodded. She remembered when she played with Livi on their x-box back at their house. But then they grew older and further apart.
"Minecraft?"
"Ok"
Mikey slid in the disc and the Mojang logo filled the television screen. Sky sat down and picked up a controller. Mikey sat beside her and picked up his. They started playing on a survival world, Sky was building the shelter out of dirt and Mikey was collecting wood.
"Did you play this before?" Mikey asked Sky.
"Yeah, I have it on my phone." She said not taking her eyes off the screen.
Raph looked up from his magazine, "Are you filling Sky's brain with this nonsense?"
"It's not nonsense! It's Minecraft." Mikey huffed.
Raph rolled his eyes.
