Levi P.O.V

It was dark out now and we were finally on our way home. Gajeel was happy, in clean non tattered clothes and arms full of shopping bags. I sighed a little and rolled my eyes. I looked up and once again, saw the flashing light. "Levi what's wrong?" Gajeel went to look up at the light but I covered her eyes.

"What are you doing?!" "It's that light again. If it messed with you before I don't want it doing it again." She nods. "I'm going to go check it out. I want you to run back to the guild and tell the master." she frowned. "But Levi-" "For once please listen to me." I pleaded.

She sighed. "Fine. Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone." I grinned. "Don't ask for the impossible, gihee." she pouted. "That's my line." She planted a swift kiss on my lips before sprinting back to the guild.

I ran towards the forest where the light was coming from. As I got closer I could see a figure lit up by it. I stepped in to a small clearing where the figure was standing in front of a large lacrima. The light was shooting from it. The white haired man turned and smiled at me. "I have a guest! Welcome!" He threw his arms out.

"What are you doing out here?" I asked. He simply smiled. "That's non of your concern right now."He looked behind himself. "Take care of him my pet." A figure stepped out from behind the lacrima, and the light pulsing dimmed slightly. Whoever it was, they had been feeding magic into it. As they came in to view I knew I was in trouble.

"So your the one who was controlling Gajeel." I said. I looked at Lexia as lightning fizzed around her. "The little iron dragon? Yes that was me." "Why?" he chuckled a little. "For someone about to die you ask a lot of questions."

I smirked a little. "I get that a lot." Lexia lunged at me, sending a bolt of lightning straight towards my chest. I dodged to the side, rolling. "Wake up Lexia!" I shouted. Her white eyes mearly stared blankly at me as she attacked again. I lept again, but the lightning curved and slammed into me. I cried our and crumpled to the ground, holding my burning side.

The man laughed. "How pathetic." I glared at him as I staggered to my feet. "You gonna answer my question?"

"I suppose I could. I need magic. Lots of it. A dragon slayers have an abundance of it." I rolled my eyes. "Great, another one after our dragon slayers. You gonna turn yourself into a dragon too?" the man laughed. "No, I'm not like Arcadia. Well not in that sense." I raised an eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean?" he shook his head. "Don't worry about it."

Lexia had take advantage of my distraction. Her lightning covered fist made contact with my chest. I flew backwards, smashing through a tree. I gasped, holding on to my chest. "How about I use you as my first test subject huh?" The man asked. A new figure stood above me. "This is not my day."

Rouge grabbed me by my throat and lifted me into the air. I gasped and clawed at her hand as she carried me towards the lacrima, Sting behind her. The man touched the lacrima, causing it to glow brightly. A beam of light shot down from the sky a landed beside him.

As Rouge carried me forward I heard her. "Levi!" I smiled a little. "Sorry Gajeel..." I mumbled. The last thing I heard was her scream as Rouge tossed me into the light.
