It was a beautiful sunny morning over Toadtown and it was February. At Toad's House, he was in the kitchen making breakfast so he could eat with Toadette. He put some sausages in a pan and started making pancakes as he poured the mix in the pan. Down below a tiny animal was burrowing under the house.

Outside in the back, a cute little animal popped out it was a monty mole. As he looked across the yard he called to his children. The pups scurried across the yard and into the hole. They ran through the burrow and not far from them beside the burrow was a box. Full of wires and a passing water pipe for the neighborhood.

Above the ground, Toad was flipping pancakes when the phone began to ring. He ran to it and picked it up when he heard Luigi's voice.

"I need help," said Luigi sternly.

A few minutes later Toad walked up the street to Shroom Street. Luigi had called him his neighbor's house Mrs. Toadabelle she was at the front door worried. Toad and the green cap fellow walked up and she was serious.

"Come and look," she said.

At the back of the house, the door opened and Toad and Luigi gasped!

"They destroyed my yard," said Mrs. Toadabelle upset.

Toad looked at all the hole as they looked like craters in the ground. He was in shock The next day Toad was eating his sub with Yoshi for lunch. As the two dug into their meal dirt started hitting the dining room window and Toad peaked out and gasped!

"THAT MOLE," he screamed.

Toad flung the dining room window open and tried stopping the animal. Yoshi got up from his chair and tried grabbing Toad who was leaning over the window. Toad teeter-tottered over the window seal. Yoshi tried grabbing Toad and suddenly the mole went in his hole.

Toad was annoyed and suddenly screamed as he fell in the bushes. He would not let an animal take over his domain. The next morning Toad marched to the Toadtown Library he would end up getting "The Groundhog Attack." Once and for all he would get rid of the wild animals from his neighborhood and he a superhero. Toad marched out the Toadtown Library and toads on the sidewalk watched as he did a power walk.

Carrying his dusty book he would save Toadtown.

At his yard Toad and Yoshi arrived wearing metal hats and they both had shovels. Mario arrived to see what was going on with all the confusion.

"Uh what are you doing," asked Mario confused?

"Retaking control of my yard," said Toad grandly.

"Okay so I'm gonna go shower," said Mario.

He walked home and Toad grabbed his metal shovel and would find the burrow entrance. Yoshi and Toad marched in formation when Toadette arrived for lunch. She saw boxes in Toad's front yard.

She got out her car and ran towards the back of the house and was confused.

"What are you all doing," she asked?

"Getting rid of monty moles," said Toad and Yoshi boldy.

"Why don't you just find a hole" responded Toadette in a smart tone.

Yoshi and Toad's mind blew in amazement and ran around the yard finding a hole. Suddenly Toad saw him and he ran towards the entrance and Toadette gasped. Toad was holding his shovel up.

"DON'T KILL IT," screamed Toadette!

The monty mole ran through his burrow and Toad began stabbing the ground with force. The monty mole was nowhere to be seen but Yoshi and Toad continued stabbing the ground. Toadette gasped and suddenly they heard a metal noise.

"That sounded like metal," said Toad.

"TREASURE BOX," screamed Yoshi!

Yoshi and Toad began to dig and stab the ground and Toadette was worried.

"WAIT NO IT'S A PIPE," screamed Toadette!!!

BOOM! Yoshi and Toad stayed still and Toadette's eyes widened they looked around.

"RUN," screamed Toadette!

The water pipe burst! Toadette screamed and water exploded everywhere as a barrage of water came. Water began to spill out in hundreds of gallons and Toad's Yard became a fountain area into a swamp. Toad and Yoshi screamed as the water ran into the ditches and soon they were overflowing.

Toad and Yoshi got up and looked at a barrage of water that was quickly going towards Toadtown. At Mario's House, he was showering and singing happily.

"I like my pizza with pepperoni and cheese," sang Mario.

Slowly the water stopped coming and Mario looked up to see no more water.

"Huh," he said.

Down the street, at Toad's House, the water was shooting out the ground. Nearby creeks were flooding fast as the ditches were overrun.

At the park, Luigi and Daisy were walking peacefully and arrived at the bridge.

"Look at the creek," said Daisy.

She motioned towards Luigi when suddenly a voice screamed.

"WATCH OUT,"

Daisy and Luigi looked and saw as a huge wave of water coming towards them. Luigi jumped and Daisy screamed and suddenly the water rushed by taking the old wooden bridge. At Toad's House, he was panicking as he called the emergency services. Toads watched as the water shot out the ground and later that evening the town workers were fixing the water.

Peach was inspecting the damage and was quite mad at Toad.

"It seems this pipe was hit by a shovel," said the worker.

Peach looked at Toad and Yoshi and the next day they were cleaning the castle marble floors. Toad was scrubbing when he saw an otter outside and screamed.

"Toad not again," said Yoshi!

He chased after Toad and it seemed like it was another day in Toadtown once again.
