It was a sunny morning in Toadtown and it was early autumn. In the woods behind Toadtown, an old cottage stood empty. Then a car pulled up Peach and Toadette got out and walked towards the house.

Toadette and Peach looked around the overgrown property then Toadette looked at Peach and smiled. She signed a paper and Toadette had a new house now.

Soon 2 weeks passed and the house had been repaired. Meanwhile, Toadette was packing up her house with the help of Yoshi and Toad. Upstairs Toadette was packing up the bed set.

"Where is your new house?" asked Yoshi?

"Oh it's in the abandoned neighbourhood beside the castle grounds," said Toadette.

"Oh no are you talking about the Gold Leaf Neighborhoods!" said Toad in a scary tone.

"Um yeah," said Toadette.

Toad looked at Yoshi and he smiled and knew what was going on.

"Oh well have fun sleeping with the boo's" said Toad.

"The boos?" asked Toadette.

"Yes boos haunt the empty houses and overgrown sheds" laughed Yoshi.

"Yea I saw it in a documentary" said Toad.

Toadette was wondering about what documentary they were talking about. Later that night she was watching Channel 4 with Toad and Yoshi.

"Next up at 9 PM, Boo's in Blue," said the television.

Toadette watched as the movie began and wondered if it was legitimate.

*In the Movie*

"Oh no, Herbert help me," screamed a Toadette.

"BOO," screamed a boo who sneaked up.

"AHHHH," screamed the Toadette.

She fell on the floor, and her shadow disappeared into a portal.

"This wasn't a tragedy it was a normal event in Gold Leaf" said the television.

Toadette looked at the television and smirked she knew it was just a movie. Toad and Yoshi were sitting on the recliner and were mostly under the blanket. Suddenly a boo popped out, and Yoshi screamed sending the recliner backward.

Popcorn fell on the carpet and the movie continued, the next morning. At Toadette's Cottage, she was having tea with Birdo. Birdo was talking to her and they were sitting at the dining table. Toadette was smiling and Birdo then suddenly a teacup on the counter behind Toadette moved.

Birdo watched it, and it began to pour hot water from the kettle. Birdo screamed and the kettle dropped. She grabbed her purse and ran out of the dining room and out of the house. Toadette saw Birdo leave and pull out into the overgrown street.

Toadette then decided she better finish packing her house. At her house, Toadette was loading her car and Toad and Yoshi waved goodbye as her car pulled off.

They both looked at each other and smiled as the sun set over Toadtown. As Toadette drove by the Peach Castle, and into the upper-class neighborhood she approached an overgrown gate which was at the edge of the woods.

As she pulled into the overgrown street, abandoned houses filled the street. It was nighttime as Toadette arrived at her cottage and she got out and went inside. She sat down at her dining table so she could enjoy her dinner in peace. She turned on the television to Channel 5 news.

Outside another car pulled up and Toad and Yoshi put on their boo costumes and snuck behind the house. Slowly Yoshi and Toad came to the back door and peeked through an opening in the curtain. They snickered and began to climb trestle beside the cottage.

Inside, Toadette was watching the television from the dining room when suddenly. She heard a noise and screamed upstairs Yoshi was trying to hold Toad from falling in a chimney.

Under the table, Toadette peaked in every direction. Suddenly something crashed, in the fireplace and smoke filled the living room. Toadette screamed as she saw a boo coming towards the dining room table. She jumped and screamed and Toad and Yoshi and screamed and she ran upstairs.

Yoshi and Toad followed her, and she ran into her half decorated bedroom. She hid under the comforter, and she went on the search engine.

"Toady what makes Boo's go away," said Toadette.

"Boo's will disappear under light objects," said her phone.

Toadette turned on her phone flashlight and suddenly the door burst open. Toad and Yoshi jumped under the comforter with Toadette and she screamed! The door slammed shut and the noise made them jump.

"TOAD AND YOSHI?" screamed Toadette!

Yoshi trembled and Toad was hugging Toadette as the door creaked open. Everyone was sweating in fear, and suddenly an invisible force lifted the comforter.

"AHHHHH" screamed Toadette!

Boo screamed, and then everyone screamed, and Boo covered his eyes.

"BOO," screamed Toadette in confusion!

"Toadette, Toad, and Yoshi?" said Boo.

"What are you doing in my house," asked Toadette?

Boo scratched his head in confusion and then looked at the trio.

"This is my house my family has lived in Gold Leaf since it got abandoned about 100 years ago," said Boo.

"Fine you can live here but don't get mad if I borrow some coffee beans if I run out," said Boo.

Boo waved goodbye and flew out and Toadette looked at Yoshi and Toad.

"You have some explaining to do," said Toadette mad.
