I meant to do this this morning but I had dance class and I completely forgot until right now, but honestly this is better because I'm feeling way happier now than I was this morning

so I did this on my first day of school last year and it really helped me to put things in perspective, to make a list of positive things in my life and in general, and since this is my senior year, I REALLY need positivity right now. I'm pretty sure no one reads anything I post here anymore, but I figured I'd post it anyway because a lot of people liked it last year! yay positivity!

- I never have to take a math class ever again for as long as I live

- this time next year I'm going to be at some college getting ready to spend four years studying the thing I love to do, musical theatre, which is pretty darn cool

- I might get to go back to New York City in January!

- I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe with everything inside me

- Tony Stark has my whole entire heart and when he's happy it makes me happy

- I had a really good audition this past weekend, and the director said some super nice things about me!

- I LOVE Broadway

- I LOVE Starkid

- TV shows and movies have become exciting for me again for the first time since middle school, in the forms of the MCU and the TV show Supernatural

- I love New York City

- The Lightning Thief musical is going to be on Broadway

- weighted blankets exist and they are magical

- I actually have some really good friends right now (not IRL, but internet friends are just as real and just as wonderful and supportive!)

- I have breath! in my lungs!

- I think I've formed some healthy coping mechanisms for my anxiety, that I came up with on my own

- everyone in my life is there to help me, not hurt me

- it doesn't matter what other people think of me! it's hard to remember that sometimes, but the comforting thing is that it's TRUE, whether I believe it or not

- I've been listening to some classic rock lately, having been inspired by Mr. Tony Stark, and AC/DC is so good! I'm jamming out to it right now and I unexpectedly love it

- Santino Fontana exists

- Jeremy Jordan exists (and so do adorable pictures of his perfect child)

- Jeremy Jordan's flawless voice also exists

- everything that seems stressful and insurmountable will be gone a year from now, because I will get through it

- Ben Cook will be eligible for a Tony Award this year

- Tom Hiddleston and Jake Gyllenhaal are both currently on Broadway

- if I ever feel overwhelmed, I can close my eyes and put my headspace in New York City

- I love musicals!!

- Hadestown exists

- school is hard but learning is fun

- Jason Robert Brown exists, and so do his brilliant musicals

- music is amazing! how cool is it that sound waves can turn into things that evoke strong emotions in us, whether those emotions are joy, happiness, or just enjoyment. music is awesome!

- the stars are always in the sky, and they are beautiful

- the sun WILL come out tomorrow

- tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that, will be a good day. because YOU ARE YOU. and that will always be enough.
