HELLO so this is a reminder for you all of how incredibly important your mental health is
so as most of you probably know, my life has been pretty stressful lately and it's really been affecting me mentally and emotionally
so this morning, I let myself sleep in an hour longer than I normally do
and when I got up, I took a long nice relaxing shower
Thursday's are usually the most stressful day of the week for me (or most stressful evening anyway) because usually, I have two dance classes, followed by two hours of tap rehearsal
tonight I'm skipping both my dance classes and my rehearsal, and I'm going to see a touring production of Rent instead
and I already feel SO much better, and so much more relaxed
so yeah, school and other activities are important, but sometimes you just have to put them on hold for a bit and take some time for yourself so you don't implode from all the stress
TAKE CARE OF YOUR MENTAL HEALTH, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT, WHETHER THE ADULTS IN YOUR LIFE TELL YOU IT IS OR NOT
